To explain this screen shot. It started at yew gate with Shield Wolf and I attacking him. However, shield wolf eventually gave up the chase and Posco stopped when it was 1v1. He was full health and ready to go. Even after killing him he had pots and apples on him. Sedric, you can take all the screenshots of me that you want and post them on here. I dont care. Fact is, I won on my mage that I never play.

I would like a few characters (for pvp) that aren't factions. I dont find that to be a big deal...Maybe i'll take that account into a different faction and try and even up some scores. I know UOD! is up for the fight.

Just for kicks I'll duel you on my mage. I wont use strangle that's about the lamest thing ever for duels. But so is a necro...BUT...since I dont have a regular mage on this shard, necro will have to do. Now, since my mage is so horrible, and you have a 99.9% sure chance of winning...how about if I win you give me 5 mill. I wont give up anything since I have a .1% chance of winning. But, if I pull it off, that's 5 mill in my pocket.

We did join TDR/JW. We spent some time, couple weeks in fact, weighing our options and looking at what guilds are out there. We didnt mind playing the irritating crew that would do the good ole hit and run tactics but we are ready for something different. In a guild that has more than 10 people we can actually play our mages in fights if we want to. Playing a mage heavily outnumbered doesnt do that well. If you think it does I'll invite any mage to 1v2 Floyd and I.

With that being said, we carry our same integrity that we had in FHP. I'll still continue posting screenshots to prove that very point on my behalf. However, with school back in full swing my playtime may become quickly limited.

The other guilds were BC (hahahaha), UOD (um, we dont favor archers or most of the people within), some trammy guilds (sorry guys), 2.0 (sorry, we arent faction fans--we prefer owning faction noobs with regular gear, it feels good), and then TDR/JW. Whatever you may believe, have believed, or whatever. Im still Kahl and Im not changing my playstyle. I just have more friends. Go me

I dont know you personally kahl, but i think you will really like TDR/JW. Theyre a fun group, can teach you a lot on your mages. I hold myself to higher standards (and my guildmates from FHP). They can teach me all they want about normal game mechanics which they have already done in the two days I have been with them. I cant believe how EASY it is to play a mage with a group and simply heal or attack the guy who someone calls out. No wonder BC, UOD, and other guilds who run with big mage groups can talk so much ****. I guess when you havent played a mage for 5 years or so you forget the simplicity of it.

What I remember was people who failed to listen. Some did, but the majority of them were like Dimebag. A friend of mine once gave a great analogy and I'll use it here. Why don't we judge my calling abilities after we have a skirmish with relatively even numbers. Because even if there were more than 3 people in your entire guild that cross healed it wouldn't matter when each spell hits you nearly simultaneously.

There is slightly more to it than that. That is one of several strategies. It varies depending on the situation.

I never said it was a difficult system. Simple is effective.

There is 1 TDR in particular that I would never call as a target in a field fight. Dueling is OK I guess, but I can't justify having a wrestle/scribe mage on my account to bother. I experiment with multiple templates and I have fun playing.

When it comes to mages I have 5 of them, each unique, each effective in their own right. The one that is blue that I will let people duel, no one wants to or they will but make excuses afterwards (Lynk). I don't blame them, but i'm not going to keep an outdated character on my roster when I need more character slots as it is.

What I know, from experience, is that TDR (same expert duelists) has a lot of people that don't play for the Group PvP aspect. That's what I play for, that's what makes UO fun for me.

Am I the best 1 v 1 er? No. Can I kill 80% of people on this shard by myself? Yes. Will any of these mages kill me 1 v 1 in a field fight? No.

I'm sick of hearing "duel me". If I spent all the time I play working on memorizing the poison ticks for a lock I would be an epic dueler too. I can keep a 3 psn tick cycle consistently and that's all I really care to. You won't see me casting weaken to hold a lock on someone in the field because pots counteract that 100% of the time.

You could always try dueling with one of your necro mage weapon characters. I havent had inscription on Sedric for 3 months but I duel with him the most.

Ummmm...No. Theres alot more to it then memorizing poison ticks(is that what epic duelers even do?). Dimebag doesnt even use poison locks if that tells you anything. Its just not quite as simple as you make it sound otherwise you'd already be that "epic dueler", right?

Also, if you're sick of hearing "duel me", you might want to stop griefing people.

Lynk actually is a good field caller, he isnt the problem its the people who refused to follow directions. On the field hes pretty good, dueling id have to say decent.

But saying yo can kill 80% of the people (i hope u meant pvpers...) on the shard alone isnt really a feat. Anyone can stock dci and kill the really crappy mages and dexers of the shard (bcs meat shields, and random guys who think they can pvp)

I can kill someone like EDAs mages with no problem at all, possibly in a 2v1 with a dexer chasing me but he is way more knowledgeable about the game and in field calling than i am. I'm not too bad at it, but i dont typically do it because most guilds have someone like EDA or homer who really know what theyre doing cuz theyve done it for years.

3. Your dexer would probably die in half a second (depending on the location of the harry) Harry fights are going to become totally different for you now, not picking people off from behind. You get to learn how to push through a daemon/wither grinder at the bottom of a staircase

Wow sieg lol we have done probally 5 harrys in the last 6 months.. some late at like 1-or2 am but the one last night we started at 10:30....lol 2 years...outa 2 years TDR/JW has at least done 15 harrys sieg ive been back too uo 3 months and have got 3 25 stats alone...from harrys..

Good now you know how BC feels at 90% of our harrowers. Noone comes to raid. We have chained them and noone comes to raid.

Maybe now you can convince your new puzzle pieces to come raid us at our harry's.

As for your dexer at a harry fight..He will be about as good as uod archers at a harry fight. Ask them how there last 2 went....Harry's are not dexer friendly unless you want to just kill the harry, but then a sampire is the perfect template. Ask B*R im sure they can help you put one together.

I agree with garret/the dude about dexers at a harry, and you hit the nail on the head with what i meant when you say at harrys you'll be playing a mage instead of your dexer.

On point 1: We did have an uncontested harry...last night. Also we did 2 oaks.

Point 2: I guess look at point one.

3. I doubt harry fights will change much from what they have been the past what...4-5 years or so? Granted Ill probably play my mage more, but Im still Kahl. If we go in heavily outnumbered I might hop on the dexxer, just depends on that night and what the real need is. Im a guildmate first but Im a subscriber second and I pay to play how I want. Now that Im part of a bigger puzzle Im going to make sure I fit with all of the other pieces. And to repeat myself, that might mean I dont get to play my dexxer. Doesnt matter to me. I just know we had a ton of people on last night and nobody dared mess with the harry. (i almost fell asleep a couple times )

I agree with garret/the dude about dexers at a harry, and you hit the nail on the head with what i meant when you say at harrys you'll be playing a mage instead of your dexer.

Well next time ill q u so u can come down and duel a bit or something cause we seem to never get raided as for the dude if we have people on we raid ..but seems when BC does them theres 3 tdr on and thats not gonna do much lol...

That is because they check vent numbers before popping one
