Lately, I find my self running around all of sosaria looking for a 0.001% boost in total effectiveness(item quality). Save for a few decent Items(new drops) added maybe once or twice a year, Ive nothing to do to better my chars.

Whats left?

PvP??

That was kinda the problem i had, had nothing of a challenge PvM (save that nasty named dragon in covetous!!!) so tried my hand at pvp and im hooked!

Equipment-wise, or generally?

If you mean equipment-wise, it depends on if you have everything you want or could possibly want.

If you mean generally, become more active in the life on your shard....Do you roleplay? Do you want to? Are their RPers on your shard?

Do you PvP? Do you want to?

Become the de-facto leader of the resistance to Casca and/or to the Shadowlord invasions on your shard.

Start hoarding money.

See if you can solo the Doom Gauntlet, or a Peerless, or a paragon balron, or a Champ Spawn.

Join a guild.

Lots of things around.

Or take a few days or a week off.

Or all of the above.

Ive done the PvP thng to death I might say. Ive dont the gate and have been granted admission to the top pvp guild on shard(at that time) by bringing a small band of brigands(players) to assault their castle. Got soo many PS that way btw.

I also changed shards(fresh start) for a while and helped bring down a greifer pvp guild on that shard. This was a bit of fun! Their GM even had his blue join the guild I was in to try to have me kicked! Whoas me he left me for dead in a dungeeon he spammed,

Vendoring i did till I just cant look at the vendor any more!

Rp well I guess I do a pretty good British accent but thats as far as i go.

Equipment ugg thats where im stuck. I cant seem to find anything worth anything anymore(too me). Its 99.999% junk now. Most of my chars have over 800 SP and mods to boot!

I dunno then, maybe try the old solo runs...or hold your cheeks for SA and hope the new dungeon can keep you going...

Alternatively you could switch to Great Lakes join DC and help us become the rulers of the world :p

Come play on Siege where you'll lose your equipment and then you'll have to spend your time getting something half as good as what you had before.

I think id need 5 accounts just to keep myself busy with the RoT thats in effect there. If it wasnt for the RoT id be on seige. I just cant see providing invisible barriers to skill gains. Save for that and seige is realt realy kool!

Sounds to me like it is time for some new things. Try totally changing templates... Pick a template that you have not done before... maybe a pure bard, thief, or support healer? (no clue what templates you have)

You might also want to try shard support things. Create a public rune library, design and host player run events, adopt a new player/returning player (or a group) and train them up.

Honestly, I reached the point you were at a couple of years ago. I ended up creating a 336 book rune library, a full soulstone library, become a stratics mod (ok... maybe that was a moment of temporary insanity), developed player run events with Lady Sakkarah (now EA dev Regine), and buying out my neighbors to create a player run town with illusion-merged houses.

Even after 11+ years in game, there are still new things to do.

If all else fails... go try another game for a short while... it may well remind you why we all love UO so much!

Actually, it's really no worse than the GGS system on Prodo shards, and you won't use as many resources to get your skills GM'd.
