ON TC1, 5 Control Slots are used and NO FOLLOWER(s)

I have a character that all of a sudden has all 5 control slots used.

All pets are in the stable and can not be claimed as the character has to many followers.

I have no clue were the Follower(s) is/are.

Anyone ever have this issue and I think this would be sad if it made it to Live.

Were you online with pets out at a time when the server went down?

Did you summon anything prior to the problem (including talisman stuff and necro familiars)?

Did you log out with pets out of the stable?

Did you try reloading the client?

Did you try both 2d and KR clients?

I've seen a problem where you have pets out with no followers used, but never have seen 5 followers and no pets. I'm just asking questions to try to narrow down what caused this to happen, so the devs can fix it promptly.

The answer to this is NO. BUT, I was at the stables, so it is possible that the server went down shortly after I loged out. If this were the case then the pet I probably had out was a Greater Dragon. * Added * To make this more clear, I was at the stables looking at the greater dragons. I then recalled to my house and loged out. When I loged back in (the day of the patch to the clients) I was at the stables and not at my house.

I had this happen to me about a month ago. I went to stables and claimed pets even though it said I already had 5 followers. I restabled them and it cleared my follower list. This was per a GM's instuction.

I jave done this and I can NOT claim any pets. It says the "Sorry you have to many followers" thing.

Was your Gd Guarding you? It will register you have followers still if your pet is still guarding you when stabled.

No, I rarely ever have my pet guard me. And on TC1 I have never had a pet guard me.

Have you tried dying?

Go get killed, log out, then log in and get rezzed, the log back out and in again.

If that don't work, then I dunno.

I have bugged it as this is a Character / Follower state that simply should not exist and should be capable of being detected form a Software perspective.

I have done nothing extraordinary (such as die) in case they need to look at the character to see what is going on.

Well today (maybe yesterday after the publish) my control slots are back to 0 used.

I hope that what ever this was they were able to determine a means to prevent it and/or automatically fix it, before it went live.
