well...?
Twisted Weald is the easiest spawn. You can finish it with 3 characters in half an hour and you won't even take 1 point of damage.Twaulo of the Weald is a spawn that I don't have the right template for, so we need a massive team to get it done.
Dexxers are useless for Meraktus (the champ).Merkatus takes no tactics for the spawn and can't be finished with a warrior
Easiest spawn until level 3, on level 3 it takes a big of common sense to finish. Can two man the spawn.I haven't done Ilhenar yet
Given the last half of that statement, I believe I know the tactic. However, I still don't have the template to execute it.Twisted Weald is the easiest spawn. You can finish it with 3 characters in half an hour and you won't even take 1 point of damage.
From what I've seen, true. I'll likely not check it myself. I've done it twice on my tamer and once on my mage, and any warriors along have felt helpless at the end. Archers also have a hard time with the spawn itself since ranged attacks against minotaur induce a minotaur charge, which hurts a lot. It sucks to have a spawn that can only be done reliably by a single template (tamer).Dexxers are useless for Meraktus (the champ).
Any advice? I'd like to do this one, but without a tactic that will work, I doubt I could convince two others to join me. Is your tactic anything similar to what you do in the weald?Easiest spawn until level 3, on level 3 it takes a big of common sense to finish. Can two man the spawn.
I voted for Neira because I like playing my archer lately, and Neira seems designed for archers.
As a whole:
Baracoon is just too easy. There's no challenge there for any character type.
I don't like Semidar since I have to take my mage or necromancer out to do her.
Oaks has no risk involved at all and takes longer than Baracoon. I still do Oaks for the arrows (just like before the replicas).
For Mephitis, I simply break out the dragon and watch the show. Again, no risk.
Rikktor is tricky and usually requires a team to finish, so it's a good one. It's probably my #3.
Serrado is good only if we have the right team. People who don't know the spawn can ruin it quickly. But with the right group, he's my #2.
Twaulo of the Weald is a spawn that I don't have the right template for, so we need a massive team to get it done. And then I usually miss the fight at the end because I'm too busy ressurecting the silly people who don't realize that paragon grizzlies use paragon targetting (in other words, they're aggressive). Memo to everyone else: kill the golden bears before Twaulo!
Merkatus takes no tactics for the spawn and can't be finished with a warrior (well, maybe if you had invis pots). Besides, there's no reward for the spawn itself. Now if they introduced a faster spawn rate and minotaur with ranged attacks, that might be more fun.
I haven't done Ilhenar yet, so I can't comment about him. But the fact that he scares my entire alliance(big alliance too) says something.
