Just a thought for the Devs to think about for spawns....

I think EVERYONE should have to hit the champ in order to get a replica there are too many people working the spawns then hiding until the champ falls and getting replicas in both facets fel/ilsh at least on my shard >< and yes I know there is a small % of getting something and im not trying to cry about it but can you seriously tell me this isnt happening? oh and another thing if a champ drops a shared reward and only one person gets that reward how is that a shared reward? am I missing somthing? (prolly) but just wondering lol anyways.....thoughts Ideas anyone?

Shared means the reward is common amount three of the champ bosses. Example: Oak Leaf Shroud [Replica] is shared between Lord Oaks, Tokuno, and Mephistas. (sp)

I do not like people hiding but I do see it happen. There are a lot of things wrong with champs right now. I recommend letting EA know here: http://www.uoherald.com/feedback/index.php

Perhaps trying is futile but you never know. I ve had some of my issues that I submit taken care of in patches.

We have a few campers on Cats as well. They do nothing, except thinking they are at Luna bank. I wonder if they get anything? Never seen them do anything except auto fire with a bow if spawn gets to close, and that is rare as they are camped a distance out of harms way.

Well not trying to defend true campers but there has been several times near or right when the champ pops and (ring ring) yep real life calls.

And or I have been asked to help kill the champ and why I was not helping

( bards rock, while your running and screaming like little girl I am in an ocean of calm peacemaking, provoking and whipping out some discord).

Yes It could look like I am doing nothing.

Then again it could be my alt hiding and attempting to steal the new balms and such.

*The new system needs some tweeks but adding in the you must hit the champ is bull dung.*

We have a few campers on Cats as well. They do nothing, except thinking they are at Luna bank. I wonder if they get anything? Never seen them do anything except auto fire with a bow if spawn gets to close, and that is rare as they are camped a distance out of harms way.

I resent that! My archer sits there (on cats) resing all you folks who cuss me out cause "I cant res" seems to be a bad thing when you have a cramped necro template with no ability to actually res. Having him there saves me the long walk of shame to the shrine as well. Real handy for spotting a new spawn while I'm away repairing armor and replenishing regs too.

I pay for 4 accounts. I have two pc's. I watch both monitors so they are attended and not illegal. I can damn well leave a res toon camped at the end of the spawn if I wish.

Also, I have enjoyed all of the fine folks there who lure spawns and invis so they will attack him.... which IS illegal. A noble lot they are. FYI he hasn't gotten a drop save one SoT in I don't know how many spawns. Probably 60 or so.

Why in the world would anyone cuss ya out if you were healing and rezzin people? Why would people lure on you if it would save them time because you res?

BTW, you actually have to work the spawn to get a SOT. Dont think camping counts. Or, you have so many folks luring on you that your archer is racking up kills to get it? Not sure, let me know.

You know, I ask myself the same question. During these spawns, when the spawn goes to the next level, I usually run my character (I use four of them) back to the place where his character (there are actually 3 or 4 people who do that on Cats) is waiting because 100% of the time, people will lure on the res station in order to get themselves out of trouble. And I hate a dead healer who has saved my hide dozens of times. Heck, once when I (unfortunately) died in sight of one of these healers, the healer switched back to that computer just to keep my dragon alive while I ran back to the shrine for a res. I couldn't thank the healer enough.

Again, as mentioned before, this system works exactly the SAME as the DOOM artifact system (PRE DOOM system)

Where it is totally randomized distribution and not whoever work the most have the highest chance of getting the artifact.


This system should've been implemented the way same as the NEW DOOM system. The point should be accumulated for each character's for working different spawns.

Say A, killed 1000 lizardmen in 10 spawns

B, killed 200 lizardmen in 10 spawns

C, killed 2000 lizardmen in 1 spawn


When the 30% chance applied on the champ boss (which it is confirmed that the champ boss DO have the replica), then the chance for A, B, C should be distributed as below:-

(assume: A, B, C are all at the spawn range)

A = 31.25%

B = 6.25%

C = 62.5%


When either A, B or C get the replica, his/her point will become "0" again.

Instead of having some uber lucky person getting it everytime, why can't it be more fair in the distribution system?

Whenever something is randomized, it isnt fair at all.

I have participated over 150-200 spawns since the last publish and have ONLY ever gotten replica by soloing spawns myself and have NEVER once get a replica to spawn when doing with others. This is TOO unfair.

Especially when I do tokuno, malas spawns, it is guaranteed 0% for me to get a replica FOREVER with this STUPID RANDOMIZED SYSTEM.

Please DEVs, DO NOT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE LIKE {Pre-Doom} again.

Yes, I can see why people would do the camping thing killing minor spawn or whatever, because the system must not take much to give them something. Working undead spawn, a friends pet died, so I ran out of the way, logged onto another account that had a tamer, ran up there killed a few incidental liches or something rezzing their pet, and ran out of the way and left him to time out in relative safety, and went back to my main account. It happened to be close enough to when Neira died he was still around, because he got a most knowledgeable person robe for killing no more than 10 liches (if even that) and never being very close (3 or 4 screens) to the idol. Yay for me, irritating for everyone else who had been there for an hour.

You know, the funny thing is I have sat at a spawn and worked it through a couple of levels just to have some friendly neighborhood reds come and take over the show. It really doesn't bother me that they do, they are usually pretty organized and this often, but I do enjoy the fact that after i have worked my tail off I can find a place away from this incoming squad and hope for one of those nifty pink scrolls. I don't always get one, but again that's how it is. I understand that this is different from the "camping" the OP suggests, but it does allow a newb not leet toon the chance to get something there.

You're a godsend and thank you for all billion resses. I cant promise not to lure but I'm running from death engulfed in flames trying to hide. I try to heal/invis you when I screw up but you are parked at the exit. It's totally unintentional, I'm not a jerk I just suck at staying alive. Sowwies.
