Can this macro be made?

Just curious if there was a way to make a "Insure item" macro so I can push one button to bring up the cross hairs for a quick insure? If it's not available could we please get one? Thanks.

Can we start all over again on topic and without trolling - if anyone knows the answer to the question posted?

no. and I think it is specifically designed this way for a reason. maybe a Dev could comment on this instead of a Stratics moderator?

it would make it even easier to insure items. as it is, it's too easy. insurance should only be toggled when unflagged and in a log out location like when using soulstone (house/inn)

I think this is a very good idea! :)

Whether or not you like the idea of Insurance in general, I think we can all agree it really sucks to lose a hard-earned item or keepsake, especially from an oversight or bug. I never like to hear of this happening to anyone, friend or foe.

Maybe streamlining the insuring process could help keep these occurances to a minimum. I know upon returning after several years, I didn't even know about the Context (?) Menus. I always check my client macros though, and would have definately made note of an 'Insure' macro, especially if it was pre-set, like the ones for opening the Journal, Spellbook, Bowing, Saluting, etc.

Up to yet I've found no way to make a macro for anything that involves using a context menu, sorry.

have you tried recording it with UOA?

not sure if thats possible but its the only way i can think of.

best is ofcourse to check the automatically reinsure item option and never run out og money heh

Can't do it in UOA. Not looking for a macro to tell me if all my stuff in insured, just want one so that when I get a good item I can just push it and insure it quickly.

you can do it with illegal third party program.

also you could set UOA macro for bag of sending.

I'm sure you could do it with an illegal 3rd party program, but I don't use those programs so that doesn't do me a bit of good.

I'm sure I could use a bag of sending but that's not what I'm asking. Now that I know the answer to whether we can currently do that or not, which is no, maybe the Devs would consider it in a future update as a small bone to toss out. Perhaps as a key command or a simple "I wish to insure this" command.

Would be nice to be able to insure through a macro as opposed to clicking on your character and selecting insure.
So here's to hoping there will be a way to do it :D

I don't see a problem with there being a macro, I just think you should have to be in your house/inn to insure items.
