My ninja's a bad egg...

Heh, I love lurking around Fel with my ninja. Anyhoo, I am wondering if the Egg Bomb makes any difference for hiding? I mean does it work just as good to just hit the Hide Macro?

Also, I assume that poisoned shurikens don't work if my ninja doesn't have Poison skill?

Only need to use smoke or egg bombs if someone is attacking you and you are still within 7 tiles of them. Otherwise just use hiding.

Dp stars and darts work with no poisoning, its based on your ninjitsu skill.

Smoke bomb(or egg) forced a hide check no matter what is going on(ie under attack) It has saved my bacon more than once.

Stars hit based upon ninja skill. Poison level is based upon what poison is put on the stars. So poison skill isn't needed by the ninja throwing them

Hm, I cant seem to poison the stars. I try the traditional poison skill method but I keep failing.

Are you using the poison skill right? And have the right level of poisoning?

Basically, use poison skill, select poison, target throwing star. Helps to have all the throwing stars stacked into a pile of 10 so you use less poison

Stars have to be out of the belt also.

Unless it has changed in the past 2-3 months

Smoke Bombs or Egg Bombs are most often used by Stealth/Archers to save their ass when they bite off more than they can chew and **** off the wrong person. I just use Shadowstrike with my Stealth/Fencer.

Takes a GM Poisoner to put the DP on the Shurikens or Fukiya Darts, but takes Ninjitsu to use them to any effect, they always apply the poison when they hit. I usually carry around 3 Blessed Ninja Belts with 10 DPed Shurikens each in them, and have a UOA macro for throwing from my main belt.

To apply deadly poison to the stars, you just need 80 poisoning (if this makes you feel any better). As was stated previously, if you have swords or fencing you can find a weapon with shadow strike and it can save your behind as well. I have used it to save myself in both pvp and pvm situations. Shadow strike take a step (to stealth) and shadowjump away.
