What happens if someone else logs into your acct...

Just a little worried (paranoid?) Just finished doing a tok spawn with a group of people, and I had:

MA ONLINE
MA ONLINE
MA ONLINE
(several more)

appear in my journal - apparently nobody else saw it in theirs, and "Ma" is a character of mine (which may be coincidence) so it had me a little nervous

Just never saw such a thing before =)

Now thats strange cos i had the same thing while i was doing a champ spawn in fel this eve.

Ma Online appeared at the very edge of my screen (left) and in my journal & I dont have any chars by that name.

That would freak me out a bit too, especially if I had a character by that name!

If this happened you would get automatically disconnected. I used to get paranoid a lot when I got unexplained disconnections without any lag building up to them.

do you remember the old global messages we used to get? for me, I think they were in red, I know it was a color that I don't normally use.... were they like that?

just wondering if one of the new EMs hit a wrong key or something

Mine was actually the same colour as my "party" messages, but I wasn't in a party at the time - my second thought after the paranoia eased a little was EM's too - so I went to see if he was in his new house, but wasnt =) I thought gloabl message too, but nobody else there saw it

If someone logged into your account while you were logged in, you would get disconnected.

Dutty is Quite correct.... "if" someone logged into or hacked into your account while you were playing it....... YOU would be immediately logged out.... If it happened while you were on another account then your character may not be where you left them.....

Maybe the game is just very enthusiastic about you being online?

lol. But anyways, as said previously already, if someone logs into your account while you are on, you get booted. I tried logging into two characters on my one account once when I first started playing, so I know this for sure

you lose connection to your account if someone else logs in, which can lead to some funny situations if people share accounts and don't tell when they log in and kick each other out.

ummm you can def find similar messages if you run an editted version of uoam.
