This is for the large or small guild...but guilds that really only play in Trammel for the most part.

1. So what are your typical methods of recruiting new players into your guild?

2. I'm kinda curious how you prevent mean people from entering your ranks?

Thanks in advance...la

Im not really a trammy GM but recruiting on ATL for those guilds just really happens from non-guilded ppl seeing a lot of ABC guilded people at mel or whatever. And as for the mean people they just have to be smart enough to weed them out as they come.

I've been a Guild Leader on a sometimes small, sometimes medium, sized guild for about four years now. And yes, I have recruited some "undisirables" into the guild over the years. However, about 90% of the time, we have been fortunate. One trick that has worked for us is to have potential guild mates go hunting with us for about two to three weeks prior. Kind of a trial phase.

For instance, in PvM, which is pretty much all we do,cross healing is one of the main keys to a successful hunt. If they can learn to cross heal, participate in the hunt, key gathering for peerless etc, they usually fit in well with us.

This is in furtherance of your declared intention to join a guild and then empty steal from them I assume?

Be advised that most people draw a very firm line between stealing using the ingame skill and stealing through abuse of trust.

That being said I don't think I can allow you to use Stratics boards to promote this venture. If I'm mistaken I'm sure I will be advised of the fact and this decision reversed, however until that occurs this thread is locked
