If a character already has a title from the zoo or the museum, if they use the slime hunter title deed, will that overwrite and replace their existing title, or will they now have two titles?

If you have multiple different titles you can choose what you want displayed.
This is done with the context menu like you use for insurance and quest item targetting.

I appreciate the answer to this also, I've been wondering about it since I used my deed for the title.
Could someone please share with me why they would want the title "Slime Hunter"?

Because when you are out hunting PvP guilds whom you dont like (not fingers being pointed just generalisation) you can go hunting those "slimes" and carry a title stating you are doing it
because it's silly
I took the time to chase the slime and earned the title. It didn't cost me anything, it marks an achievement and part of the game I enjoyed, and am still enjoying. The title will be nostalgic, and part of my characters history.
Just to said that been there done that.
Anyone know if you can give your title deed to another character to use or are characters required to complete the quest in order to use the deed?
only a character who has completed the quest can redeem a deed (I believe it doesn't have to be the same deed they earned)

Yes, you can give it to another char to use. But the receiving char must have started the quest (don't need to complete it).
