11th Anniversary Items Question Again

Since there were EA people on the boards yesterday I thought I would take this opportunity to ask yet again, if there is any word on the 11th Anniversary items for all us people who are NOT in Japan?

It is very frustrating to be told that we (the other paying customers) would get them 30 days (thereabouts) after Japan did which I believe was around November 13th and yet here it is January 6th and no word yet and most all questions regarding this have been ignored.

Please can we at least get someone to comment and tell us they don’t know when we are going to get them instead of just ignoring us?

I'm telling you, they meant to say we'd have it available in Dec '09... they just forgot to put the year when they made the original announcement...

Wait 11 more months and we'll get them... not a problem.

That's my point. If Jeremy gave us incorrect information inadvertently, it would be nice if someone corrected that misinformation and told us something else. Just leaving us hanging with no information at all even though it has been asked over and over again is, in my opinion, not good customer service and shows disrespect to their customers.

Speaking for myself, I would appreciate the links.

I am confused as to why someone won't just tell us what is going on. Ignoring us is just rude in my book. Even if they said something came up and they aren't sure when/if we will get them would be better than nothing. Granted it would not make me happy to know we have again gotten the short end of the stick compared to the Japanese market, but at least they would care enough to communicate with us on it.

Wow, well, first, I think the explanation *has* been given, both by Jeremy and Kilandra.

EA Japan is releasing their own SKU with these items as part of a promotion, and once they've finished their initial run they'll be available here as well. Releasing codes online at the same time would completely conflict with their promotion, but we have made sure we'll have them too.

These items aren't replacements for Veteran Rewards, or anything else commemorating the 11th Anniversary of UO. We still have quite a bit of the 11th Anniversary year to celebrate

I haven't posted about this over the Holidays because they (employees of EA_Mythic) all deserve a holiday too without complaints from us. But since they are back at work now and they were posting yesterday, I had hoped they might answer this question for us since it is way past when they said we should be able to purchase them.

Indeed. Even at this point a 'We are passing this off to ppl who handle the promotion' would be nice. It's cases like this that warrant people to scream 'WHY ISN'T THE TEAM LISTENING??'

I mean, at least friggin' own up and ACKNOWLEDGE it has been read.

I'm actually losing interest in buying tokens now. From the time it was announced until now I could have farmed a ton of monsters on an Aisian shard and bought the items in game.

The particular topic of this thread is the release of the 11th item collection on uogamecodes.com (not related to anything else that might happen in the future)
