Armor Resists

This is probably a self-explantory question, but I figured I'd ask anyway.

I thought I about had my toons suit straightned out, working towards MI, MR, DCI, HCI, but my resists are sorely lacking. I've got the following for my suit;

Brightsight Lenses
Rune Beetle Carapace
Fey Leggings
Storm Grip
Voice of the Fallen King (May switch out with Jackals Collar)
Quiver of Infinity
BLS with SR3,HPI3, MR2, 21/6/8/7/8
Brace/Ring with 22ER and various DCI/HCI/DI/LMC

With this setup my resists are (with protection cast)
44/54/70/28/75

These resists look really low to me, so I'm thinking about swapping out some of my arties for better, but I thought I'd ask the ones that have been playing for awhile.

not sure what type of character you are archer /warrior etc but i would take protection off this will give you atleast 15% physical back I would find something to exchange the legs with (unless you are a toe to toe fighter) get the jackals collar on and this should get you close to 70S to lazy to do the math this is almost my exact setup on my archer also look at your energy and cold protection when you are done (maybe you could get more protection on jewels) you may be able to get different jewels to make up for the rest

Try and replace some of those artifacts with crafted gear.
Look for Stamina increase, LMC and mana regen with loads of Resists in the right places.
Probably replace the Voice, Brightsights and Carapace. Go from there.

Resists can go a long way in keeping you alive. Too many mods won't.

Firstly, what type of character is this? Archer or melee? I'm guessing melee since you say you want DCI.

Here are my suggestions for changes:

Brightsight Lenses - Mace & Shield Glasses (will go a long way to filling that need for Physical resist)

Rune Beetle Carapace - Keep

Fey Leggings - Toss up on this one. My meleer's suit is not an everyday type setup, but as far as getting DCI, these legs are good. The trade off is that the resists suck.

Storm Grip - Keep

Voice of the Fallen King (May switch out with Jackals Collar) - Make the switch. VoFK isn't worth keeping on a high end character. You'll get much more functionality out of the Jackal's

Quiver of Infinity - Fine

BLS with SR3,HPI3, MR2, 21/6/8/7/8 - These need to go and be replaced with something that has higher resists.

Brace/Ring with 22ER and various DCI/HCI/DI/LMC - Good, but once you get the armor pcs set up the way you want, you'll want to look around for something that will fill in the holes in your resists and still maintain the HCI/DCI.

I agree...
Find some barbed runic armor with 2 or 3 mana regeneration and 65+ resists. You don't need all the artifacts

Yeah, she's a down and dirty meleer. I built the suit thinking I would burn through mana pretty quickly, but once I got the chance to use it, I realized that wasn't the case. I've noticed so far that although my mana isn't an issue, stam is. Thanks for the suggestion folks, as always it is much appreciated.

If you're burning through stamina then you need stamina leech on your weapon.
