Wow.
I can't say I am sad to see the loudly-colored garrish beasts go, but it must suck if you are a player that ran through all of your Tok Dyes dying and selling these things.
It probably sucks even more if you went out and paid any substantial amount of money for them though.

If that's the same one that's been hanging round Haven recently, I'm with your BF! It had roughly the same effect on my eyes as sun on snow or water. I was seeing spots. The safest place to pity that particular fashion victim from is somewhere in the next solar system

Just a quick question. Will the change on the swampie armor be in the same code that dyed my bed black with tokuno? I seriously hope not, or you will be hearing screams of fury coming from house decorators galore.
tokuno dyes have always worked on carpenter deeds, but swampy armour is the only deeded item made by a smith. I'm hoping that that is the difference. I have had a bed with agapite blanket ever since the 2nd tokuno treasures event, I'd rather not lose it.
I have to admit I'm a little surprised this stirred up such emotion ... they will, after all, eventually break (well, except for GM banksitters I suppose).

Neither am I. I suspect that's the problem. These things have had roughly the same effect on me as seeing someone walking down the road in what appears to be a nightie made out of her grannies paisley curtains, finished off with wedge shoes. I wince and feel embarrassed on their behalf.

Careful, you don't want to go round Luna bank under the influence. It's bad enough when you can just see 4 neon swampies, once your vision blurs that could end up as 20+ I don't think the human retinas are designed for that sort of punishment.The one day I go sober and all these funky colors start to show...Made me start to drink again

Or worse, there are 2 radioactive gherkins on Europa. Wonder what will happen if they bump into each other. I think the next solar system may be a good place to hide!

Honestly I didn't really care..... figured the "novelty" would wear off eventually and people would figure out that the armor breaks and they look silly..... of course I'm sure the swampdragons have been rather shocked to be top mount again.....
I really don't care if folk are wasting dye on their silly swampies.....
I'd be rather upset though If all my deeds are bleached.... so to speak..... I've had a shadowdancer black bed for a good long while.... and the new dark blue is pretty nice too..... I would hate to lose that....
I will say this..... You know they color things brightly for kids for a reason? Little kids and babies love bright colors... think about that next time you go out in your bright neons because I know I do.... *smiles wandering off in the nice shadow black*....
