Nope...there isn't. However, there have been several threads on this matter...and, well, you can get it to work with emulation software...but, there is no guarantee.

Maybe find your friend an old PC (not too old)...it doesn't take much to run UO in 2D mode.

Hmm i have tested it with wine under Linux 2d works perfect, so i think it should work under appel too.

uh you can make it work for mac at great work or through slow choppy emulation but i advise using bootcamp to run uo and having it run faster than it does on most pcs.

I recommend using VMware Fusion to install a Windows VM on your computer, then installing UO.

It should run fine since UO doesn't take up many system resources.

I've used VMWare with a few different linux distros and I have been satisfied with performance.

if you have a mac, simply use bootcamp to run uo natively.

Any of the crossover versions (office, games) on Mac and Linux will work. It also works on wine (which I believe is also available for MAC). Bootcamp is the best choice if you want to run KR.

I have used all the above extensively (though just games trial). Use Wine for free or if you want something a little more user friendly you can demo crossover for 30days and see if it is worth the $40.

I prefer crossover if you want to run multiple windows apps, as each program can easily run in its own bottle (i.e. windows instance). If you do use crossover select a new win98 bottle as this provides the most stability (winxp is still a bit buggy).

Bootcamp, VMWare, Parallels are overkill for 2D. One advantage of 2D being so long in the tooth is that you can on pretty much run it on any spec system using wine/crossover, without the huge performance hit of VMWare/Parallel or requiring you to boot in to windows.

I'm not a MAC guy, but am I right in assuming that every one of the solutions mentioned will require the purchase of a Windows license? In other words, none of those products include Windows 2000, XP, or Vista.

No crossover and Wine do not require a windows license as they attempt to implement the windows API, the other solutions require a license.
