Players having 190+ HP [Needs fixing asap]

Heya,

There's a bug around letting players have a lot more HP then 150 which should be the cap. Players are having over 190 hit points, which gives a big advantage. I don't know how it's done, but I just know that people use it.

There's one screenshot. And there is more, but I don't think there is need to link all those here. I did the black things there cause that is not my character, so I think it's not legal to show his name. He plays on same shard as me so I know it's not just some freeshard screenie.

This bug has been reported to bug center or what ever it is, but usually writing about em here also speeds up the process :)

Pots and armour with HPI? Its not impossible to have that many hitpoints.

actually it is intended to be impossible as the hpi cap is set at 150. i too have seen players with this and would like some comment from devs.

There's supposed to be hardcap 150 hp. Also HPI cap is 25, so even with 150 str and 25 HPI + the pot you should not be able to get that high. 150 STR gives 125 HP, adding 25 HPI is 150. Even with that new HP pot it would be just 160. But the most important thing is that HP cap is meant to be 150, hardcap.

Do any of the new stealables or faction-enhanced supplies increase HP's?

If so, maybe one of these new items is stacking with existing HP's, and going over the hardcap unintentionally.

It would be the first thing I would check and test if any of the newer items do indeed increase HP's or another factor that would allow a player to break the hardcap.

Well the thing is, I'm not sure if this is even a new thing. Might have been around longer...

The Strength cap is 150, not the hit point cap. You can reach 170 I know of. They are probably hitting higher with the new balm.

new balm gives + 10 STR? so still unable to go past 150
also hpi is capped at 25 if i remember correct

so 150 str/2 + 50 = 125 hp max form str
add 25 hpi for to go to 150hp

the guy in the pic doesn't even have 150 str, lol. So that is not the case. he has 132ish. So now it's even more messed up.

I wouldn't doubt it's a bug or an exploit since the dummy in the screen shot also happens to be letting everyone know he runs the stump hack....

I don't get it.
What's the bug, wearing Hit point increase armor and buffing strength?

How is that a bug? There are many, many HPI items out there.

I've never heard of a hardcap on Hitpoints.
Stats are hardcapped at 150.

It's definitely an exploit of some kind then.

Notice too that the guy in the pic has modified some files since it looks like a horde of lumberjacks has harvested the rear of his tower.

he has like +63 HP increase. No crimmy, no Wolf form. Dev's capped HP increase to +25. They did this because PvPers were whining about people are too hard to kill.

I'd like them to increase HP for PvM players :D.. just me though (minator champ EQs hit dexxors in 70s for about 150.)

He's also wearing what appears to be Inquis Resolution and Hat of Magi... i'm pretty sure neither has HPI.

If this is the case with players having more HP than normal... this could explain why some of the known cheaters on my shard take 5+ people to take them down casting FS after FS and they still don't die.

As amusing as this whole issue has been, I think it's gotten rather out of hand by now and some explanation is needed.

It all started with me being bored and posting this screenshot of my character on the UCH boards of Europa:



After receiving an offer of 100 mil (which I didn't accept, scamming is rude!) for the "hack", I added some fuel to the flames with this:



I'm pretty sure any experienced PvPer would notice if their opponent really had 190 hp and that's why I'm surprised by how many people who have played against me for years actually believed the results of boredom and 2 minutes of Photoshop.

PS. My character is disguised as a Christmas tree in case anyone wondered about the clothing.
