The KR client will do it without any external programs, however you're going to need a pretty good system if you want two sessions of KR to run smoothly...

Alternately, you could have one of KR open and one of 2d open.

I'm not sure about 2D but KR can run multiple copies (although your RAM will hate you). I do this whenever I need to cross-account ressurrect a dead mounts.

If you try and are having trouble, I know that in WinXP there are some tricks you can play with multiple users set up and the "run as" option. Worse case scenario, you could try something like vmware to create a virtual machine - or even get a second or third hand machine capable of running UO.

i wonder why they dont just make the 2d one able to run multiable time i know its possable.. people have made progams to do it before.. and they can be anist it because the KR allows it "out of the box" ... juswt wierd..

You can use a piece of software called Synergy, I think it was.
It allows you to use one keyboard/mouse on multiple systems.
Each computer is independent, but when you move the mouse to a defined screen edge, it moves onto the other system as if it were a second monitor.

Synergy is on sourceforge, as I recall

I use the Fast User Switching option in Windows XP Pro. :)

I have another user account set up specifically for this purpose, and it works great. I can be logged in with my main UO account on user account #1, and simply Switch Users to user account #2, start another instance of UO, and log into my second account. It's really simple and efficient when transferring items between accounts, co-ownering homes, resing pets, etc. I am especially fond of this method since it's legal, and requires no other software to be installed or running.

I only use the 2D client...waiting until SA to give the new client a serious try. I am assuming this would also work with KR, although it sounds like KR lets you run multiple instances anyway.

My system is a Dell running P4 3.00 Ghz Dual Core with 3.25 G of RAM.
I haven't had any performance issues, even after long gaming sessions without reboots to plug those pesky memory leaks.
