If I had infinite amount of money, I would probably buy all of luna on every shard and leave them as empty plots too. Maybe customize them in a way to give it a fire effect. Don't like it? Tough luck.

Luna should have been razed eons ago. If we can have invasions in the CAPITAL city of Sosaria then why not Luna?

Though I wouldn't go as far as you (as you are clearly insane), I think Luna should develop more as a player run city. I would have loved to build the Semperoper Theater inside the walls of Luna but the housing is too expensive. I would also like to see vendors actually make an effort to have decent looking houses instead of just plots with a bunch of folks standing around. Blech, no imagination at all!

Heck most of the time many of the vendors I look at are empty anyway so I bet if you were to consolidate all the empty spots you would really have a need for 10 vendor houses leaving the rest of the space open for player run institutions. Since Luna seems immune to most of the town attacks, having it as a safe haven for a player town would be great! We can't place housing in New Haven and considering that it looks like a shanty-town... um I wouldn't want to anyway.

In the near future I expect there will be fewer vendors in Luna anyway... myself and my associates have targeted many of the establishments that sell the vile chemicals of Alchemy.

The Inquisition will put an end to the evil of Alchemy!

With 1 EA account, you could have infinity UO account.

Do you think that I'm the only that have more of 10 account?

I know a lot of player that have it an more that have answer in this thread...

I pay to EA money for all account and all house, my money is used as your to denvelop UO world. A normal people pay 1 and play for 1 person, I pay 10 or more but play for 1 person only for have house, I don't understand which is the prolem????

it isn't through jealousy.i also have some accounts i have 5.and i also if i wanted to pay 800 dollars for a house in luna i would but i would rather spend 800 dollars on a vacation. than a house in luna

the question i am asking is why have those houses in luna and not use them.
if they are used for storage then fine that's cool but why in luna ? why pay 800 dollars RL cash for a storage house in luna when you can get one in say minoc for 5 mill in game gold.

Of course, I'm interesting in hearing from Charlie... um, I mean Darsus but using a "real life" example... Developers buy up property in various areas and may hang onto it for years before implementing any type of construction.

Even in-game there are folks that patiently buy plots near their homes so that they can make their own player-towns or create housing to match their own design.

Not that Darsus's personal life is my business but maybe he's a real-estate developer! That would explain how he gets the cash to buy these expensive properties and his methodology in using them.

Perhaps someday he plans to turn Luna into... Darsus! I'm sure a man of his intelligence and integrity would plan on having several spaces in the city for cultural activities... perhaps a theater? Hmmm...

The Germans are barbarians... the French, buffoons... Irish, drunks... Spanish, delusional... English, think they are funnier than they really are...

Of course, the contribution of the Scandinavian's could be the most distinctive of the otherwise meager European contribution to humanity. The longhouse design pioneered "green living." Great admirers of art and culture, they would often venture far to gather decorative items from churches located in coastal towns.

So... the Italians and Scandinavians pretty set the standards for any European claim to civilization.

No i don't use as warehouse, but for shop.

On Europa I have 4 house for shop, I use 2 for me and my 8 partner of TGF (TGF is a group of 9 people, I'm one of this 9). The other 2 shop are for rent for free.

On the other shard is for rent, now is empty but before there were some vendors. They paid for 50K to 200K for a week.

Unfortunately I have play few in this year, but I hope to play more next year.

To have this house I have waited for 5 years, because for an year, I don't play i couldn't close the accounts or sell them.

1)If you can't play UO on your Mac why have numerous accounts?

2)Now you say you use two for yourself...how do you play? Work comp?

3)On the LS shard your vendors have been going to arrive for years.

4)With 1 acct. you can have infinity accounts???? Lost me there.

5)Think everyone is just curious why someone would own so many accounts and not use them. I don't think jealousy is involved at all as a lot of us have multiple accounts.

My partner play. My personal vendors is empty.

There are 2 guilds of my friends that have vendors inside my shop on Europa: "_F_" and "EV1L".

3) Because on LS I hope to open me directly, but unfortunately I don't had time and I haven't find pleople interested to rent them. On others shard I had rent vendors.

4) On 1 "EA" account you can link infinity "UO" account.

5) I the last year, I had been a lot of problem irl :-(
Before I play for 6 hours from monday to friday and all day in saturday and sunday.

i gotta agree rands work is pretty poor you got to have a lot of time on your hand to even read that book. she doesn't like society at all, she must be a miserable person to be around.

Atlas Shrugged is less a novel to be read for some notion of a "Hollywood story" and more a novel to be read to understand what she was seeing as a course of human "development" and what happens when you take the Socialist concept of punishing achievement to its logical end in the US.

I'm pretty certain that Rand herself would suggest that she was very happy with her life after moving to the US and doing what she felt was her professional calling and that it is the people who were and are jealous of her success that are the miserable ones.

As for the book, I can see how people would have various reactions to it, I believe it's mainly due to what side of the equation they tend to fall on mentally.
