Ewwww, that idea is even worse. Why not place 7x7's in every guardzone in every town then?...la

What would be wrong with that?

Don't tell me you'd cry tears of sympathy for the people who've raked millions having a Luna vendorhouse all this time. They're still coming out way ahead even if such a drastic-- and virtually impossible- thing were to happen as forcing them to relocate their house.

No need for a forced migration ... there's still a burning rubble home in pretty much each Luna.

I'm not convinced it would be more than a drop in the bucket as a gold sink, but it is an interesting idea ... might be able to generate data on how well lotteries would work as end-game gold sinks.

*wonders if since UO permits sale of in-game items/properties whether technically such a lottery would run afoul of real-world gambling laws*

"rent" the buildings in the towns that are more or less unused anymore. Imagine renting the smithy shop in Jhelom. You now have employees (with salaries) Fire the NPC's, give them raises, make them "work" for you - whatever you want (as long as your rent/taxes are paid up). They can sell your items, ect. Kinda a more interactive vendor than the ones that just stand there quietly.

Rent the Playhouse, have a party, have a play, have a auction.

Rent a unoccupied building, set up home. Just be carefull about getting evicted. Those buildings are rarely used. Heck, rent out rooms in the INN, thats what usually happens at an inn, your room for XXX days, payment in advance please.
