I have pulled a few great items and have only been doing it for 2 days on and off.

Your either the luckiest person alive of lying. I have seen like, two 5 max modded items from loot (both of champ spawn bosses which = peerless quality loot).

Does perfection give 1000 luck like its meant to? I remember a debate about this a while ago.

Perfection DOES increase luck substantially, but there is no way to confirm that it is 1000 luck other than through the release notes. I bash miasma daily and I see a difference using honor, the luck statue and bleu jewelry set. I run with 1290 luck before perfection, but can see the difference when it kicks in. That being said, you do not get a luck boost on every kill. And after killing thousands of miasma, have never seen a max ring or bracelet.

Yeah he is, just read over mods and realised they were the perfect mods for a tamer, only looked at intensities before.

Is Life Fair?

Exactly! Life is fair and I play UO to escape life... I'm glad UO is unfair! Makes my life more interesting.

As for the topic... folks who have actually supported the game deserve something, even if it's a little tip of the cap from UO. The people who "game-hop" don't do anything to promote the longevity of UO.

I nearly fainted when I pulled this off a paragon blood elly. I can imagine getting a VERY pretty penny for this, but it just makes to much sense to keep it.

I would like to see a picture of this ring and then I might believe you.

Seconded. Or Thirded. Whatever. Without a picture, this ring is as (figuritively) real as Santa Claus.

And to reply to the thread in general, I agree that everything in the game doesn't have to be fair, and giving loyal longtime players a few small bonuses is OK with me, but then my main account is 11 years old.
