Crafting Question

What is the maximum number of special attributes a weapon can have?

Could I have a weapon with Stam Leech, Mana Leech, Hit Lightnining, HLA, DI, SSI, AND UBWS?

Thanks,
E

I *think* the max is 5 mods, but don't quote me on that.

I believe it's possible if you craft one of the weapons that has a property already part of it, such as the Luckblade or Mage's Rune Blade.

OK. I'll be more specific.

Lord Dester on Atlantic was the crafter:

Leaf Blade of Ease:
Stam Leech 44%
Hit Lightning 50%
Mana Leech 46%
Hit Lower Attack 44%
SSI 30%
DI 40%
UBWS

I'm trying ti figure out if that even a legal weapon? Or it's some sort of hack. He's got several other similar weapons but that one was just over the top to me.

The Leafblade of Ease comes with UBWS as one of the standard properties, along with having one of the hit spell effects as standard, so I'd say that weapon is very much legal.

Side note- That would be one hell of a Sampire weapon.

It may have been runic and/or ASH crafted of iron first then enhanced. I'm not the games best smith but I think that could be the answer.

Enhancing weapons does nothing but add either Luck, Lower Requirements, and/or change the resist damage. It couldn't add any of properties listed on that weapon. The only crafting skill that can is a Bowyer, and even then none of those properties would be one that could be added other than a slight bump in the SSI.

i saw a player last night on europa that had a warfork that i just wanted to kill him for

it escapes me exactly but it had a massive list of properties

something like this

dull copper war fork
damage increase 54%
hit lightning 40%+
hit mana leech 40%+
hit lower defence 40%+
swing speed increase 20 or 30% as if its not fast enough!!!
lower requirements
physical 100%

the firgures are rough, but they were all 40% at least except the ssi

this THING made me stop to chat with the owner, these days not many weaps do this, in fact the last time was the maginica invasion when all the diff demon slayers emerged, most impressive

i am not a mega smith so i have no idea how it was enhanced with runics to keep the 100% phy

but this must be a sexy but of kit

it just screams DARKFATHER ass kicker to me

It is a legal item. The UBWS is a standard for that craftable, and the 40 DI is from the GM armlore. The other 5 mods are from the runic hammer - most likely valorite.

Like Connor said perfectly fine. DI 40% is automatic with armslore, (ubws, luck, hit spell effect are a given when it comes for the leafblade) so in total you have 5 properties crafted by a runic hammer. Very nice one with high mods I might go grab it myself :)

Yea extreamly nice val runics have great potential. Dull doesnt change any damage mods. Dull only adds durability and lower requirements. So it automaticaly always keeps the item at 100% physical.

I've got an example of another type of named weapon crafted with a runic hammer for you with the same number of properties:

Mage's Rune Blade

Hit Mana Leech 62%
Hit Lower Attack 38%
Hit Stamina Leech 30%
Faster Casting 1
Swing Speed Increase 20%
Damage Increase 40%
Lower Requirements 50%

That's a total of 7 properties and was crafted with a Gold Runic hammer. FC 1 is a standard property on this weapon and the LR 50% is from crafting it with DC instead of iron.

So,
If I follow correctly. 5 properties MAX from the runic PLUS any other mods you'd naturally get. It makes me wonder about the imbuing stuff and the fact the the natural and DI bonus are included in the 5 properties.

Since imbuing hasn't been introduced in the game as of yet we really don't know exactly how it will work...I know there is a sticky explaining all of it, but until it is actually released, then modified, then nerfed, then re-modified, I wouldn't even think about it and how it relates to mods on items made from runic kits. On items from loot, I might put them in a chest and wait before enhancing them.

The most properties you can end up with is 10:

Use gold ingots (it gets 2 properties: 40 Luck and Lower Requirements)
Use a Valorite Runic Hammer (adds 5 random properties)
Use a ML Recipe (some, like the Guardian Axe add 2 properties)
Be a GM+ crafter (Adds DI)

Completely legal and from a verite or val hammer.

Lets start with the two properties NOT from the hammer:

UBWS - Leafblade of ease includes UBWS (its a recipe item)
DI 40% - Thats 35% from being EX crafted and 5% from Arms Lore

The other 5 mods are from a runic. Verite can give 4 or 5 and a Val hammer always gives 5.

Legal legal legal....
