I've been looking around on Stratics and UO Guide and I can't find the maximums for item properties and other things like that. Such as MR, SR, DI, HCI, etc. Is there a list of maximums somewhere. I think I remember seeing it on a FOF post but I can't remember or find it now. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks!

Here are the important caps for a warrior:

Damage Increase(from items): 100%
Hit Chance Increase: 45%
Defense Chance Increase: 45%
Lower Mana Cost: 40%
Hit Point Increase: 25
All Stats: 150 hard cap (You can have as much +gear as u want, but can't get over 150)
Faster Casting(Chivalry): 4
Faster Casting Recovery: 6

There are no caps on stamina increase, mana increase, or mana regeneration.

I am not positive on hit point regen or stamina regen... but I think they are around 24.

Mana Regeneration is on a diminshing returns system, meaning the more you have, the less each point helps. Also, your MR items will work better depending on your meditation, focus, and intelligence. A good number to shoot for, due to diminshing returns, is 8.

You can overcap your HCI to counter HLA(-25).
You can overcap DCI to counter HLD(-25) or Divine Fury(-20).

Hope this helps.

Great info - thanks.

Can you elaborate on the need for med or focus for mr to work better? I've heard this before and some swear by being human, but I want to be elf for mana increase and I can't fit any med on my template.

Well if you could fit meditation or focus on your template then you would get either MP or stamina return back depending on which of those you decided upon. Me personally, I have characters that are both human and elf. Me personally I like elf for most things, but human has its uses. I guess I don't really have a bias opinion or to give you any information on why one or the other is better. Isn't as complicated as FFXI or WoW or anything else like that for that matter.

What class is this for? Archer? or a dexxer type template?

Human for JoAT is ideal for dexers. The JoAT gets you the max LMC for special moves.

So if you have 300+ skillpoints in combat skills without JoAT then elf isn't too bad, I'm elf on my bushido/parry/swords dexer and on my fencer/archer. But on my macer I'm human.

I have an ABC archer and a sword/parry/bushido dexer (adding necro for vamp). Both are elf and I like the mana increase and night sight.

Is there a formula for how mr and sr work? As I understood it, if I have 3 MR, then I get 3 mana points back per 10 seconds. If I had Joat I would get a base of 2 for med and 1 for focus (20 points each). But, if I have Joat plus MR = 3, would I get 6 total, or more becuase of some multiple factor?

I can see where for longer battles the extra 3 MR from Joat would be nice, but for short fights having 20 extra mana from the get go is better. It would take 66 seconds to regain 20 mana by the 3 MR from Joat.

What about SSI? Is there a max for swing speed?
Most crafted weapons there is a chance for the SSI to fall between 5 and 30...as far as hand weapons go. That is excluding minors like soul seeker and other weapons which are faster.

As far as SSI itself...there is no cap but swing speed itself is capped at around 1 swing per second. So no use stacking a ton of SSI. Just enough to be around 1 to 1.25 per second.
