Taming VS Inability too do a Skill

I was out farming and a char came up and attacked me with magery, I believe it should be remove since i was farming and not PvPing at the time. Then a guy came up and did necro on me, was totally unfair, so it should be removed, the reverant wont go away till i was dead. Then a fighter came up and killed me and then my pet, i couldnt destroy his weapon or even HARM it, so fighters and weapons should be removed from the game. Then a spellweaver walked up, casted natures fury on me and i died, Spellweaving should be removed from the game. CHRIST, remove ANY skill from the game that you cannot in ANY way play. (I) suck at magery, and melee and ALL skills but taming. THEY should all be removed since I cannot play them well.

Since taming takes EFFORT and Knowledge you want it removed. SO many times in the past we hear that another players gonna make a tamer and ROCK all tamers, and what happens? They work for a few weeks and relize its gonna be a few MONTHS before they have ANY power what so ever. Then they relize that they have no idea how to actually TAME a pet. And then the relize that the pet they tamed is a POS. CRY CRY CRY. Blame the PET and not the IDIOT player that REFUSES to move away from the tamer. You and many like you want to be the PvP GOD and HAVE to go back to that tamer to try to kill him, and when you DIE you sit there and scream how tamings SOOOOO Unfair.

Either learn the skill and get good at it and teach the other tamers what a Awesome PvP tamer you are or GO AWAY. This constant crying about tamers is OLD.

The sec (if ever) they remove tamers from PvP, then is gonna be crying about Necros and Reverants, or mages and summons, or spellweavers and furys, or ect ect ect.

STOP CRYING and get good at a skill. Stop trying to control others because of your inabilities.

Guess shes the one good at releaseing nicer pets... (hehe).
Dont attack the new strangers if you wanna keep your pet, but again, its just another person who thinks having a pet makes you uber. Then has no REAL idea how to be a real tamer.

Also wanna point out that being a tamer is the hardest template to keep blue.
And the sec a tamer goes red that cannot be a real tamer suddenly wants to sell the account. Red pet is a dead pet is my rule. Pets that die and the tamers has no idea how to repair them is suddenly just a red with a overpowered sheep.

Dang, I didn't know there was that much to it - I took the general Siege pragmatic approach - don't get hung up on keeping yer pet for too long and use what's to hand. I just go grab me a quick mix n match of Drake/Ki-rin/Bake or a batch of Ostards and run with them - if they are still alive long enough to bond - great, if not - grab the hides n go. If you die or the pets become urk-fodder go grab another load - did I miss something? Or am I not "supposed" to play a tamer like that?

I just wanted to post in this ground breaking thread, and actually support you King Edward in your message..

I too believe people born with mental deficiencies should be able to play UO, and a tamer is a template that they too can understand..

The difference between a good greater dragon and a POS that you tame is HUGE.
If your gonna go fight with 5 polar bears, then just do what yur doing. Dont expect to solo a Rat Spawn or a Peerless with junk pets. (or at least it'll take yur pet dying 20 times and 3 hours to finish a spawn). Finding a good pet takes months sometimes. Esp in PvP good pets are a must. Neo walks around with a greater dragon that my dragon eats in about 8 bites, while his does 5% of my dragons full life bar.

Hehe, maybe I got whacked in the head as a kid but I love the challenge of playing with tamed POS or pack pets - agreed, something like a rune beetle vs a pair of drakes is significant but with frenetic bandaging and the occasional res they can be surprisingly resilient, and of course -worst case easily replaceable :)

Kind edward you are ****ing CONFUSED on the notion that being a tamer is the strongest template on siege and gets the most kills and loot.

Tamers are always the first to die in a fight, and usally lag behind anyways.

SURE tamers can get pancake kills like 1/20 all kills but how often do tamers actually make it away with loot to sell.

You are a ****ing fool edward, and thats why you are making this post crying about criers.

EVERYBODY in UO has more fun than you, you think you're so l33t but if it was true you wouldnt need to yell it from the bottom of the barrel.

Or yell it in vent, lol. Ive had 3 or 4 JSV tell me that this guy totally loses it in vent when I show up. Ownage that good goes way beyond pathetic hehe. Poor eddie wants to be so much like me he cant stand it

besides all the funny talk about knowlegde and skill, how exactly would you think i ever lost one of my pets to the strangers? i know i was involved with 4 dragons being lost, they definitely all came from either to or jsv thoo.

I guess if all I had to do to pickup a murder count was to say "All Kill" it would be pretty darn easy and tempting to be red... That and people actually giving murder counts due to the annoyance. Good point... Hadn't though about it that way!

It takes skill to play a tamer like Shak, it takes a pulse to play a tamer like you.

.... but then again, this is Siege ... the ultimate colour-blind shard vs a prod-shard. I've always assumed "Red" or "Blue" has little or no relevance, depending on where you happen to be (and what you are doing) at the time but for the most part, folks are either going to attack, ignore or more likely stop and chat :)
