Problem with PVP?? (Target)

What's going on with PvP now?

I finally got my internet and back to game.

Then I went to the enemies several times today.

When I go to their screen in about 1-2 second, ALL will attack me almost at the same time?? What the hack is going on?

Did all of them become UO gods that could target people so fast altogether AT ONCE? Or are they robot so they have same reaction suddenly?? What the hack???

They cannot drag my bar beforehand because I just meet them for the 1st time so no way they could have my bar beforehand for ALL of them.

Can anyone explain the reason or any trick to do this? Any Devs reply to this please? I want to know.

Devs have been unable or unwilling to deal with this for over 8 years. Don't expect something to be done anytime soon.... Or at all.

Um.... Ventrillo or team speak with a target caller? Its really not hard to drop someone in 2 seconds with a decent shot caller and a few people with a fast reaction time.

You can macro targeting people with UO macros.

There are two system one old, one new, the new one can be disabled. The old one has target next then either last target (for target cursors) or attack last (for melee flagging). The new one I'm not familiar with but I think it has various target modes (nearest/next/ally/enemy etc).

Many people don't think the old system works because they try using target next (uo macro) followed by last target (uoa macro), it is necessary to use both target next and last target (uo macros) once successfully (with whatever target cursor you have up) before uoa will recognise that person as the new last target.

I use the old system and have usually cycled to a target just before their on screen.

I just always clicked on people, although against speedhackers it could be difficult.

oh, UO is also the only mmorpg that i know of where being able to click and drag a players health bar is a huge part of pvp.

I am running on horse back and I never had this experience before my internet got problem 1 month ago.

I cant believe after 1 month, they will all become UO gods or Robots that have the SAME REACTION, SAME TARGET SKILLS all the single time I run past them.

By the way, I didnt die by this because I not stupid running too close to them.

But whenever I am about 10 tiles from them, I will see my screen about 5 to 10 people attacking me at same time.

However, when some of my teammates are here on the same screen, this will not happen so obviously.

So I wanna know if they have any trick that could target nearest enemy or something.

NO, the current UO new/old target macro CANNOT do this.

You could only selectnearest ---> mobile <-- this will target anyone even your own teammates.

selectnearest ----> Hostile <-- this never works unless the person is hostile to you.

So I 100% sure UO normal macro CANNOT attack someone that never been dragged bar, never seen, able to attack nearest enemy at all.

By the way, What the hack is RAZOR?? What does it do??

kr has the optioin to cycle through nearest and next ememy.. you can put it on the mouse wheel..
i can be very fast with targets with KR and i dont cheat.

i have macros set up for target last, target next, target nearest.. i also have macros setup for auto target..

im using a gaming keyboard, the logitech g11.
i can hit the mouse, scroll to you and push G1 and it will combo you with EO+para..
then i can push G2 and do a EO+EX+FS combo..
you be dead probably faster then you can pull my bar and CLICK me with your mouse..

its all in the macros.. try them

correct me if I'm wrong, but I was under the impression that while the use of these gaming keyboards are allowed, it was against the TOS to have more than one macro binded to a key. I don't personally care, since I have never died to an evil omen para from a single player (or from anything less than 5 players for that matter), but I'm just putting that out there. I know you can do it with UOA, but that's a terrible idea because it messes up when you get interrupted.

The flaw in that is your opponent has to be a moron and standing still for it to work.

Without naming names, google UO free servers. The UOA-esque program that you find is what is probably being used, and what EA has not banned for at least 7 years.

Why Would UO and UO assist being so stupid and continue to let people use it for the past (dont know) how many years.

However, I aint gonna do anything about this.

This is exactly what UO / Uo Assist been doing.

They know what kind of program is this. They know that THIS PROGRAM is making them earn lesser money and lesser business (lesser people use UOA means they get lesser profit). The most important thing is RUIN the balance of our PVP system and PVM system making many people either use it or be pissed off by those who using it.

Howcome after all these years, they still not find ways to avoid people using it?

Why not just update the client so it NO LONGER support that sort of illegal program... Come on I know its not that hard.

edit: that's probably what you're referencing, my bad.

If it was EXP, FS then EO it would work. But again, if you hit that button when they aren't evil omen para'd you'll look pretty stupid. Macro's are also prone to screwing up (on my G15 anyway), I prefer just to micro well.

I have never get killed by 1 person. Also, 95% of my shard uses 2D in pvp side. I have seen ALL of the screen shots taken by our teammates, the enemies, 100% = 2D and not KR version.

So there is no enemy using KR target at the moment on my shard. Therefore, the only source is that they rely on "THE PROGRAM" which the people earlier mentioned that works similiar to "UOA" but is BETTER than UOA and is most important Illegal.

Plus, it is not hard to target people in 1 v 1 situation even with the 2D UO new target system.

The main point of this post is, 1 month after I not met with my enemies, they all became UO gods or Robots that can all target within 1-2 seconds I NEAR their screen while I running in max speed on horse back. I am over 8 to 10 tiles away from them of all time as I am not stupid person who look for dismount and get ganked.

However, like I said, when my teammates are on the same screen with me and the enemies, the enemies will have trouble all target me at once since, when I saw 1 person attack me, i will be moving back immediately which probably ruined up their "iLLEGAL PROGRAM" as their "Illegal Program" the most efficient usage is "TARGET NEAREST ENEMIES"

I think we couldn't say this. Its more like either the following reason the Devs are not doing anything at all:-

1. They have no ability to fix this kind of illegal program as its too hard and annoying for them.

2. We just dont have enough voice on this topic for them.

You have seen they been fixing several things when many people voice them on.

This topic or similar have been brought up numerous time and still they cannot fix it.

Quite disappointing and discouraging....

Anyways, those who want to maintain a fair pvp or pvm environment in our community should give pressure and give all your supporting voice on this thread for the Devs to focus and concern.
