A strange error message when logging into UO

Hi folks!

I sometimes have this problem logging into or out of UO..Sometimes when I login or out I get this error message. The error message consists of a window with saying: "Fatal! Thats all this message says..no other info

I enclosed a screeny on out guild website but no one could help me there either

Sounds like either a corrupt file or a script that is calling a line on startup/shutdown that doesn't exist or has been modified. Have you tried reinstalling UO?

You mean delete my current ML version from my comp then totally reinstall it?

Try uninstalling and reinstalling UO Assist.

I got that same error logging in yesterday, but when I shut down UO and restarted it the error did not recur.

Also, rather frequently yesterday I would get the message, when changing characters, that another character was still in the world and needed to time out. In most, though not all cases, the character was logging out in a house owned by the account and had not been in any combat. It did happen once when I logged out in an inn. In each instance just clicking through the screens again allowed me to log in the next character without actually shutting down the client or waiting out a timer.

Just to be on the safe side, I'd go and change my passwords. If you login while someone else is logged into your account (a hacker, for instance), the client will give you an error message and will hang. I hope it's only the UOAssist issue, but again, just to be safe I'd change my passwords, run a virus scan, and see if the issue pops up again.
