Whats wrong with that? Not everyone will use it anyways.... At least now a non vamp sammy necro/necro chiv - dexer melee char w/out UO assist chuggin pots can actually participate more against them tentacles and maybe have more fun in the process instead of just pet healing or jus rezzing peeps...
I jus see it as a way to let the "classic" melee char actually be able to do something against it is all....
