Probably west of Britain, that's where they seem to be currently at on most shards.
West Brit farming fields just before the mountain pass to the Skara Brae/Brit crossroads. Can't miss 'em.

Where does the quest for the slimes begain? I found the person in the zoo and he says he has nothing for me at this time.
What do you do after the slimes? Is there another part to the quest?

quest starts at jhelom docks
but then what? so you have the 3 basins. confused after that.

go to jhelom docks like stated he will give you quest and 3 bowls then go to slimes and dyebowls(you can die them from same slime then take them to zoo keeper guy (you dont have to make them quest items they already are) and he gives you title ticket for "slime hunter".
So you're saying there's nothing to actually steal and I'm stalking these guys for nothing.

There is a lady in white in the long row of buildings near the docks on the northside of the island. Can't remember her name, layla?? She is in white, you can't miss her.
When you find the slimes some advertise a color. If you find one with the color you want give chase and when possible double click it (in peace mode). I don't think any of these hurt you, you just have to catch them. After double clicking a target comes up. Use to dye a piece or to fill one of those three tubs you have from the quest.
