Ok so I steal a Gem of Salvation right.....and I die a few min later. It asks me if I wanna rez with the Gem and I say NO! I run myself out and someone rezzes me and my Gem is used up. This is obviously a flaw and should be corrected ASAP.

If this was in fel, are you sure that the gem was not looted from your body while you were getting rezzed?

Sounds like it is a running weaver gift spell that when in backpack is activated at death. Does a window option use come up or should there be one?
I wasn't sure, but figured since he stole the item, it was not blessed. Have not used a thief to steal from people so did not know you could steal a blessed item.

He's referring to that he stole the gem from the monster... thieves can steal once per monster now.

Yeah this happened to me to. It is very annoying.
with monsters all around my body it instantly asks you when you die if you want to res.
I say no and then it says your gem decays or some such thing, even know I didn't use it.
you know what is even more annoying about these new items... they don't stack and I am not getting the Seed of Life. I have between 4 and 8 of each of the other 8 types of balms and lotions but not one seed of life and that is the only one that says it is stackable.
Sorry, Athos_uo reported when the publish was on test that the seeds don't stack, and as far as I know, he's right.

I believe they are bugged also. I have had one in my pack, died. A guild mate was standing near by(on the screen), rushed over to rez me. I answered no to the gump for the gem to rez, allowed guild mate to rez me, but the gem went poof also as I rezzed. So apparently, if you have a gem in pack and die, it will be destroyed when you rez, no matter how you are rezzed. This is either a bug or poorly designed feature if not a bug.
can someone tell me what creatures they've gotten the gem off? I'm up to 38 assorted lotions and balms and haven't, so far, had a single gem.

I got my gems from arctic ogre lords. I ve stolen from a couple of different monsters and have 30 or so of the items but no seeds. Anyone steal any seeds of life and if so what from?

heh, I read Maggie's post and went to harass some arctic ogre lords, 2nd item I got was the seed of life. Still no gems for me. Pity we're on different shards or we could arrange some swaps.

Indeed, best drops are from lich lords and daemons, considering their relative fame level.

I'm so jealous. I spent all day yesterday killing deamons, fandancers and balrons and for a big fat 0 except for scrolls and gold. My luck is awesome.

Do fandancer's spawn in a fel dungeon or champ spawn area? I believe those are the only places you steal the rare consumables.
I've got two gems off shadow wisps at the lord oaks champ spawn at spirituality.
If you own a Gem of Salvation, you should take it home or bank it. If it is bugged in the manner that several people are describing, then you only face a lose-lose situation by keeping it on you.

Prehaps that has worked for you. I have tried it and so far the only bugs I have noticed getting fixed were the ones that a EA representative replied to a topic here at Stratcis. So, for me, I will continue putting the information here. I also appreciate that when I post what I believe to be a bug, I get fast confirmation from other players that indeed they have had the bug also, or that no that is not a bug, but that the why the game is designed.
I've gotten two seeds off the Solen workers, so don't have to be the toughest critters.
