Slime Invasion

any info on where the slime invasions are? they didnt seem to mention if they would be on any particular facet, or if they would be in town or in random places. we've been searching high and low on balhae, and the search isnt faring well

I don't think its an invasion.. I think it's one simple slime that spawns in a radom location.

I dont think this event has even started yet.

I have looked every inch of everyplace even t2a up and down in both fel and tram there is no slimes.

Nope ive checked everywhere I dont think there is any - there are some slimes inside fire tram but thats about it.

Anyone play the jap shard events ? Where did they spawn then ?
I have checked every place every level of every place t2a ya ya ya even check blighted still nothing.

On Napa, Lyla is at the Jhelom Docks...thinking this might be the same on all shards.

I have done some searching in the swamps, but not sure what the
dye slimes will look like. Normal or different color?

No clue on the slimes, but the questgiver who wants you to find slimes (Lyla) is at the north docks of Jhelom, inside the wooden... uh... thingy before the docks.

Not sure if you're serious or sarcastic here

It's a community search ... it's sort of pointless if you eliminate the "search" part of it.

The world is full of nooks and crannies. There's no guarantee we will find every one, but I'm sure that at least once during this event, word will leak out over a sighting.

Friends and I have searched high and low on Origin, ilish, tram fel and t2a .. we've been in and out of every town, dungeon, mine and any place you can think of and still nothing. =( This quest is definately a frustrating one. If anyone has found them they arent saying, prolly to be greedy, but either way, still no luck on Origin either. =*( If anything a couple hints would be nice =/

so far on napa have checked serpents hold skara brae, heartwood, walked from yew to hag and found nothing also scoped out minoc, moonglow, shrines have been checked on tram. still no sight of a slime

I'll try and list some of the places I remember them spawning on the asian shard event. Khaldun, Heartwood, Painted Caves, Cemetaries.. I'll post more as I remember them.

checked all that, so either they are spawning in different locations or this event is completly screwed.

For one they only spawn for a certain amount of time they have a life span I guess from what that thread said. We could have already missed it for today oo well good luck guys got kinda dumb after 7 hours of nothing but looking.

You guys wanted this event and now don't want to spend the effort searching for the slimes? This is like finding a needle in a haystack. You are going to have to split up searching duty because one person is not going to find it out their own.

In addition, it is likely several have been found already but no one is telling other people.

Ok Origin lets group up and do a shard search...the places i've been are : tram except all the dungeons and fire island. tokuno except the caves, I've checked all the towns, and I walked from destard all over to the swamps near trinsic, and hedge mage.

As always when there are events like this where you've got to search high and low, I always find myself noticing small details about the land that I hadn't noticed before. I went into Exodus dungeon, which I've done often for the spellweaving quest, but now I started noticing all these control panels and switches and I now wonder if they still do anything. The two machines behind the pyramid itself have a control panel challenge which pops up. So it isn't just about this particular event, but it's about exploring, something which fell by the wayside a long time in UO. I for one applaud the Dev Team for trying to revive it.

This event has as much logical flow as an episode of Heroes.

"Driven out of their dungeons" - Yet according to the list from the Japanese event some are found in dungeons.

"I'm searching for samples from the gelatinous family of slimes" - The only place this would indicate is Paroxysmus' Palace as the keys dropped from corroded slimes are gelatinous.

"If you get stuck ask adventurers" - The guy at the entrance of Paroxysmus' Palace is an adventurer, but it's nothing to do with it.

The entrance to Paroxysmus's Palace is also surrounded by giant 'Slimes'. - But again nothing to do with it.

How the hell do we jump from this information (given from the quest giver) to fire rabbits in tokuno? (A facet where no slimes have ever spawned)

Oh well we'll overlook that and kill the stupid rabbit anyway... now we have an animal pheremone... does it do anything? No. Back to running around any random bs place.

They do move, and think about the amount of places people would never even think to look. For all we know one could be on the last level of fan dancer dojo, or sitting on some remote island.
