If u are leaving for pastures new to try another game etc etc...

Please!! Please !! Put your best stuff and gold in your bank boxes and dont leave it in your house...Your house will fall after 90 days of not subscribing and all will be lost to us Idocers....Then when/if u decide to come back and give UO another spell/whirl in 2-3 years time [ ya! we will still be here waiting/playing.] Then at least you will still have your best stuff and gold in your bank boxes!!!! and u can easily place another house!!

Good advice.

If you put 125 items in your bank, 125 items on a beetle you're riding and 125 items in your backpack times 7 characters on your account.

That's 2625 items you can keep when you close your account.

Actually . . . In two or three years your best stuff will probably be worthless junk. Considering Imbuing will have come out and will probably do the same thing the release of AOS did to items. Make them completely sub par pieces of junk (searches for his silver/vanq/supremely accurate hally). Your better off not worrying about it and just finding good people to help ya back on your feet if you do come back.

Errrrr..... Not sure how to react to your most recent post THP, it was not meant as an attack of your intentions at all. My apologies if I came across that way, I know some players are at odds with with some of your recent posts on the rares section of Stratics. I was really just asking more then anything if you have seen an upbeat of idocs the last month or two. I don't have the time to do Idoc's I did many years ago and it was alot of fun. It's more from the perspective of the pulse and the health of the game really.

I am not quitting the game, but I have been playing another online game for the past month and having a blast! Like most games if you have played it for a long time, its nice to take an extended break and hope things improve when you venture back.

After playing one of the newest games out thier and getting use to how to move and interact with the mouse and 3-d graphics its fun. I just hope that UO can move forward with a better 3-d client, content, bug fixes and publicity for the game. Just have to wait and see I suppose!

Yeah thats the best advice. I left and deleted my toons on one account and completely stripped the ones on the other one and when i came back (which i thought i never would), i had to start over but this time i played it safe. UO offers the kind of experience you cannot find anywhere else. Thats why i am so passionate about this game.

Excellent advice. I have met several people who returned after a couple of years and wished they hadn't left everything to rot. Some people think that if they let everything go (and even worse delete characters ) they will never come back. Unfortunately that is not always how it works out!

I would like to add that the most important stuff you should bank are your soulstones and personal bless deeds.

I keep those that I find in hopes of giving them back to returning players. But it's hard to decide if I should continue to keep them or trash them when I run low on lockdowns...
