Question For The Devs

I paged a GM to remove some Paints & Brush from my pack, they responded and removed the item.

They then say that they notice I have a bugged quiver. I look in my pack and don't see any quivers with more than normal arrows in any of my four quivers, but I say "Okay, can you please fix this as well then?".

He fixes it, I thank him and he then tells me he's going to issue me a written warning for possessing an illegal item.

He tells me this is not a 'mark' on my account, but to please report bugged items. But the item didn't appear to be bugged, so how would I have known? Why am I getting in any sort of trouble for something I obviously wasn't even taking advantage of? I in fact had just bought the quiver a few days before because I was tired of going back and forth to the bank after Mel runs.

So my question to the Devs is this:

If the item did not appear to be bugged, how is it my fault for not knowing it was bugged and not reporting it? Why should I be warned at all if it's plain as day that I'm not even using the item in an illegal way? (It had like 20 bolts in it, with three other non-bugged quivers in my pack, so obviously I'm not using this 'bug')

I know I shouldn't complain, since its not a mark against my account or anything, but it's the principle of the thing I guess. I don't use exploits or bugged items, so it's upsetting that I'm even getting reprimanded a little bit for something I wasn't aware of.

I feel that now, when buying anything, even if it doesn't look strange, I need to page on EVERYTHING I buy to avoid this ever again.... or never page a GM to help me with anything again, lest they find some other misc. item that isn't obviously bugged and reprimand me again.

Please help, it's just upsetting because now I'm thinking I'll have to just buy Heritage Tokens to get my quivers (which sucks, because they only have 30% reduction, whereas the Elements have a 50%)

i had this happen to me too. you can tell if the quiver is bugged by the fact it says it can hold 400 stone when it is supposed to hold only 50 stone. so if you get another one you NOW know what to look for. at least you didn't get halled off to jail. the name "quiver of infinity" is a gross misnomer.

Ooo Okay. I didn't even think to look at the stones, I had just thought 'bugged' meant it was holding more than 500. Goes to show what a hacker I am. :p

Yeah, imagine my consternation when i found my self in jail over it. Someone showed me how to make the quiver hold more arrows and being the trusting soul I am I didn't relise that i was going to be inviolation of the TOS.
