Last evening during the All Shards Tavern Night at the Iron Bandit Inn in the Kijustsu Anei Village, the inn hosted something called the “Youkaiko Bazaar”. It was to be a formal dress affair to celebrate the prosperity and anniversary, of sorts, for Youkaiko.
Ado the Thief, of the Youkaiko, who manages the inn, mentioned that the Youkaiko also work in trade and have expanded and doubled their trade routes from Tokuno Islands to Britain and also the Malas. The night started off with a few rare and unusual brands being brought out, Makoto Ale and Serpent Crest Wine are two I recall, both quite lethal in their own right.
The patrons arrived in their finest attire with even the savages sporting fine head wear of cloth and fur. The Deputy Commander, Delta Butch, came for a celebratory drink as well as Balthier Trakand, the savages Sinthe, Niva, and Sai'ge, Fanny Firebottom, Takara and myself, Midnight Moon.
When the robed fellow Slick arrived, he promptly attacked Sai'ge which in turn caused Niva to attack Slick while Ado was screaming for all to stop and sit down! It was quite apparent that the “savages” do not like “the dirt people” as they are call by the savages which we refer to as ninjas.
Once the dust settled so to speak, all went outside to take part in a rapid round of darts. Two against two it started off and eventually down to the final two but not before Slick, while skulking around and hiding and stealthing, poked and grabbed at Takara during her turn annoying her to the point of storming off much to the delight of Ado. Sai'ge of the savages took first place and myself taking second.
Now Slick is just that, a slick one, and while Sai'ge was playing and biting at her prize check she dropped it and he quickly scooped it up and disappeared into the shadows not to be seen again that night. This prompted the savages to call for a “War Council” and they headed off to the Hunting Lodge to make attack plans against the “dirt” people.
A strange occurrence also happened during the dart game and that was the appearance of a ghostly apparition which was later followed from the area around the Iron Bandit Inn down to the Tower of Souls owned by Dread Lady CaT which it swiftly disappeared through the unopened door. A curiousity indeed!
