Write a quest?

Just an idea...

Could we have a contest where we can contribute quest storylines (using the UO engine -- essentially kill monsters or drop an item on NPCs)?

Winner gets programmed in on the test shard, and a selected group tries it out and votes whether to keep it?

If the devs aren't gonna give us storylines to follow, maybe we could provide some of our own....

It would be more interesting to have them develop and distribute a script engine that players could download, and use to create creatures and quests, which they would have to submit to the Development team. If it was a self contained unit that didn't involve giving up server side code, but would output encrypted code that could be de-encrypted on the Devs end and then read by the server it would be an interesting way to run a contest. Heck it could be a Bi-Monthly affair to be honest let the players develop new content that would be tested by QA and used as the foundation for future event arcs.
