I don't 'celebrate' halloween. Never have done, never will.
But why is it game manufacturers seem to assume that everyone does, and force it upon us?
In WoW, in Sims Online, everywhere you see pumpkins, provided by the game manufacturers in some kind of tie-in.
I wonder what it is about fantasy online worlds where so many things are different (I take a bus to work instead of a kodo... although to be honest the kodo might be faster...) yet they seem to always want to tie in real life 'events' - or at least the commercialised parts.
I just find it frustrating... maybe I'm alone in this ... but anyway... thoughts?
