How does the "faster casting 1 " property work? Doesn't a weapon have to be "armed"(in hand) in order for the property to go into effect? If I am right on this assumption, isn't "faster casting" property a waste if it is not accompanied by the "spell channeling" property???

FC 1 on weapons w/o SC are used for Chivarly who's cap is 4/6.

FC 1 on a weapon would also be good for Necromancy spells, maybe some Ninjitsu stuff too.

Faster Casting is very important for your chivalry spells,they get disrupted alot otherwise.Best in combination with high fcr.Also useful for a ninja to spam some mirror images fast enough.
Im not sure about this,but i think spellweaving/mysticism also do not require spell channeling on a weapon.And some people are using these with the human 20 skill bonus in all skills.
