He woke suddenly, falling off the bed. Drenched in sweat, he gasped for air as he leaned against the wall. The image had seemed so...real this time. It had been only a night since the curse Va'lis had cast on him had taken affect, and yet it seemed an eternity...

He washed his face and climbed back into the bed thinking on the figure he had seen....the words it had spoken...


"soon Tucker...soon"

 

[Norrar]

"the blood tide rises Tucker..."

Tucker rode through the land, trying to evade the voices that pursued him...

He recognized the emblem they wore... A rose dripping blood...

"Va'lis..." he thought as he rode, dodging the fireballs chasing after him.

He glanced behind him as more figures appeared.

Malek, his warhorse tripped in a hole....

He flew off his back, landing in the clearing near the gardens, he flipped over and raised his bow, firing three quick shots, only to see them pass through his pursurers like smoke...

Their bloodied halberds swung about him, they were not very dextrous, allowing him to easily weave in and out.

He fired more shots only to see them pass through yet again.

The battle lasted several minutes before the figures stopped and looked northwards.
One by one, they vanished in flash of fire. Except for one who turned to him...

"Soon Tucker...soon we will have you...again..."
