This week we return with The Golden Fang Casino From Atlantic shard
The Golden Fang Casino an in game casino where players can play a variety of games, with confidence. They also feature Slot Machines, which has a very unique system that is very well done!
Ace the owner answered some questions and showed me around Hop you enjoy it as much as I did.
I managed to catch up and visit The Casino and ask Ace some questions!

1. The Golden Fang Casino obviously caters for our “feel lucky” players but what else goes on there?
The Golden Fang has a lot going on for players to enjoy besides our Dice Tables. First off, we have Slot Machine vendors that run 24hrs a day. It's simple as buying a key and unlocking the box! Second, we have our famous chicken fights that are action packed and you can also place side bets with our bookie. Lastly, we offer great events and programs like our High Roller Club, plays, holiday celebrations, weekly raffles, and much more. Truth is, there is so much going on it's a little overwhelming.
2. What else do you and the GFC guild do?
The Golden Fang Casino guild is also a role play guild, interacting with other guilds in an ongoing storyline. We recently have had a few run ins with some orcs, who captured a casino patron. Casino staff went to her aid and used some gold to bribe for her release. This happened repeatedly, so we were forced to call in the casino's muscle to kill them all. *looks left and right and proceeds to whisper* I shouldn't be telling you this, but I feel you can keep a secret.... The Golden Fang Casino is run by a clan of vampires that uses it to not only suck your bank account dry, but suck you dry too. The Vampiric Order is the guild that the casino was founded from and don't bother trying to ask them about it. The Casino staff and the Vampiric Order will deny any association and call it rumor.
3. How long has the GFC been around?
The Casino was first built in 2010 with the name "The Bloody Feast Casino" named after the tavern it was next to owned by The Vampiric Order. The tavern was torn down to pave the way for the current casino. The casino has been rebuilt 3 times over the years. It has humble beginnings as a 1 table single floor establishment, but has now grown into a small city of building spanning multiple shards.
4. Why did you create the casino?
I created the casino because I saw a need in the game for a place where you could get away from the grind of everyday Ultima Online. We really enjoy bringing Role Play to the community by not forcing it on people, but using it as a tool to enhance the experience and have a good time. The casino keeps the game fresh and interesting bringing a whole new element to the community. I quote a patron telling me once that, "This place makes this game still worth playing."
5. How many Staff are on your books?
Our current staff numbers around 15 with full and part time employees. We are very specific in who we hire, being that we have a big reputation to uphold that is founded on Honesty, Integrity, and Dependability. This is a fun place to work, we have a lot of role play thrown into it with signing dealer contracts, table inspections, and other staff interactions not to mention the crazy interactions with customers.
6. What other types of characters do you have?
I personally have many different types of characters, but my mains are T-hunter (Capt. McCallaster), Crafter (Vampiric Armory), and PvP dexer (Shai Le'Morte). Most people that work in the Casino are PvPers in the guild The Vampiric Order, but many of the staff are also into PvM from the guilds, The Wheel of Time and Yew Militia.
7. How long have you played?
I've been playing Ultima Online for about 10 years and my business partner Jack has been playing since Beta.
8. What is the biggest bet every placed by a patron?
Currently the biggest bet is 5m on a single dice roll. We know that casino's in the past have done large bets, such as Mr.Nice's casino from long ago did a 100m bet. The reason we limit our bets to 1m with limited exceptions is to protect the player and the establishment. We don't want players to bet more then they can care to lose. When bets get to big it's no longer about having fun and we want to keep this a fun place.
9. What is the biggest win by a patron?
We have on many occasions done 50mil+ raffles with the winning spread over a few winners. It is hard to keep track of the biggest winnings for a night, but I've heard of many patrons walking out with over 10 million gold in one night. The biggest would have to be in the 30 mil or more range since I personally dealt to a player who won 20 mil at my table alone.
10. What is the best and worse Gift you have received from UO Devs?
The best gift so far would be a personalized event moongate from EM Bennu, to bring players to one of our events. We really appreciate the support we have been getting from the Event Moderator staff, being that we are a role play establishment and are fans of their work with Atlantic events. The Casino has yet to receive any personalized gifts from the developers, but I would have to say our town banner that is on the way will be the great gift. The worst gift woudl have to be, the gift they won't give us. A working slot machine with visuals, like you find on some of the free shards. That would be great.
11. What games does the GFC have?
We currently have 6 dice games and the rules can be found on our tables.

12. What are your future plans for GFC?
We have great plans for the future on the Golden Fang Casino. We plan to expand by adding more game types such a roulette and introduce a lottery called "Mega Millions". The High Roller Club is being expanded to open more room the Legendary members by opening a High Roller room with 2 more dice tables. We are opening a building inside Luna walls with slot machines and a dice table. We have more plays planned for the community and are working hard to bring the theater experience back to the game. We have even begun to open Golden Fang Franchises on other shards, using our developed casino system to bring the fun to other shards. Needless to say the casino is growing and has grand plans to make it the most well know establishment on Atlantic and the game in general.
13. What has been the biggest bet placed?
Biggest bet placed was a side bet on a chicken fight for 30 million gold and they won. We introduced a one bet per customer rule after that. *laughs*
14. Is there a minimum and maximum bet?
Min bet is 100k and Max bet is 1m on Dice Tables. Larger bets are allowed on occasion by pit boss. Chicken Fight side bets are 500k a bet and our Slot Machines vary from 75k a key to 1m a key , with prizes ranging from 500k to 10m.
15. What has been your biggest highlight as a Casino runner?
I would have to say it is seeing people enjoying the game and telling me how much this place means to them. I get a great deal of satisfaction from running this place and serving the Atlantic community.
16. Do you use EC or CC for playing?
Classic all the way!
17. What do you think is the biggest challenge for UO these days?
That's simple, New Players. The game has a very steep learning curve and it's not bringing in many fresh faces. Every person I've met in Haven is a returning player, not a new player. UO needs to encourage new players by some sort of referral program or something similar. Then reinforce it by an in game help system that doesn't refer someone to a useless web page. The best support is a character in game. How about offering an option for established players to be on call support for new players. Lets make this game grow again!
18. If you were a Dev for a day what would you change?
I would open up more lines of communication with players and be more receptive to their ideas.
