here is my solution for target nearest enemy (or any kind of target):
I found this nice program Mouse Wheel Control that works for every apps/games for a cheap price. With this program you associate a key to the mouse wheel.
With this you can also put macros on the mouse wheel (like target/attack last)!

This program will work on classic client too

Here is a free alternative: X-Mouse Button.
This allow you to change the function of every mouse buttons and bind it to a key.

Hmm... doing a Google search without clicking that link, that site also distributes (sells) invisible key loggers. That's not illegal in itself, just suspicious. I think I'll pass.

the version I'm using is clean and cannot be downloaded by this site.
However if you use a razer mouse you can do it with its driver software
