[Parry] types of shield

This character is currently training parry, both for use with chiv/bush, and with chiv alone. Recently there was found an entry describing how the smaller shields blocked more often, but the bigger ones stopped more damage when they did block.
Is this old information, or is it still new and current? And is either better- more damage blocked less often, or less damage blocked more frequently,
with pvp?
with pvm?

The type of shield doesn't make any difference in any way.

Yea all that info is from long long ago, when smaller shields blocked more hits, but blocked less damage, while large shields blocked more damage but didn't do it as much.

Now, all shields block 100% of an attack if you succeed your parry, and they block with the same effectiveness. The only difference is which you perfer, and the mods on it.
