Can these be trained and can a non-tamer, no animal lore or taming train them ?
no, you will need to be human and use JOAT or get a ring and bracelet with Animal Lore on them so you can Lore the Vollem.I dont see a blue button .... so do I just take it out and smack stuff and that trains them ....
Then I see a blue button and (train) advance it by adding power scrolls ?Can this be done with a non-tamer char ?
he wasnt loreing them i think.I was on TC. If you dont see a blue button, it means you dont have enough skill to control it if pushed.
The skills will increase.
As it advances in slots, the taming requirement increases.
Clean up pointsWhere are everyone getting these Vollems in a crystal from????
They were ment to be a special from SE launch, 1 per account if i remember correctly.
This the latest duped item then since the devs basically told everyone to go nuts.....one shop is now selling 15 yes 15, +25 stats powerscrolls and numerous 120 skill scrolls......
*sighs* ....they cannot keep anything a rare collectable in this game....Clean up points
welcome to the party about a year late.*sighs* ....they cannot keep anything a rare collectable in this game....
au contraire mon frère, i have 2 on each of my bards and most of the mules.I haven't seen anyone showing off these guys trained...
I'm assuming they aren't any good?
But these vollem always seem 100% loved hmm.what will happen is when you tell it to do stuff it wont listen and it will go wild and you will lose it.
the taming requirement is for control.
the closer the gap between your taming and what is required the higher the chance of a failed command.
the more failed commands = pet losing loyalty and going wild.
Have you tested...:as long as your taming or your JOAT is above the min skill listed on the pet lore sheet your golden and they will love you.
but once you start to raise them up in levels and their taming requirement starts to raise you get closer and closer to that threshold where they will start to not follow your orders.
so taking one and leveling it up a bit and adding a couple things to it is fine.
but getting greedy and getting too close to that threshold will eventually get ya bit.
if you want we can go to test, i can hand you a leveled up vollem and you can bark some orders at it.Have you tested...:
Lore sheet says they need 50 to keep....
A. Is that 50/50 taming / lore
B. Taming only?
My guess is it bumps the chance to control (taming and lore requirements?)

I am on chessy. Good idea I can have a guild buddy help. I did hover over the requirements and it said taming/lore.if you want we can go to test, i can hand you a leveled up vollem and you can bark some orders at it.
would be better to test it on Test Center, that way you dont loose the vollum - or if and when you do it wont matter.I am on chessy. Good idea I can have a guild buddy help. I did hover over the requirements and it said taming/lore.

Can you check for me your slot 4 or 5 vollem taming requirements? Thxwould be better to test it on Test Center, that way you dont loose the vollum - or if and when you do it wont matter.
Vollem
2 slots 0 skill
3 slot 6 skill -> 49
4 slot 49 -> 70
5 slot 70 -> 82
Poo - when you "push" blue button on an unleveled 2 slot vollem does the skill required go to 49 immediately - just wondering where the 6 comes from.so i remembered i had a T Hunter on TC that had a vollem so i went and tested moving it up the advancement.

they have magic, so putting disco on them would cost you 500 points and erase their magic.A guy on LS lost three of them until he quit taking them to 5 slot max usage of points.
You can put discord on and have low taming/lore requirements.
He is a warrior. He has a free discord if he can control it. Discord target all stop all stay. If it works.they have magic, so putting disco on them would cost you 500 points and erase their magic.
