Tower of Vigil - My mini tower

This is my little three story mini tower. The top floor is built using the new stone walls. I designed these with bamboo floor tiles on the bottom floor so everything can be seen before stepping on the plot.

These mini towers dot the borders of the claimed lands of the Dwarves of Kraggen Cor.

I remember when Kraggen Cor fell on Origin, it was a sad day indeed.

You folk have always been wonderful architects! I love these towers, they remind me of how it was on Origin...glad to see the clan still alive and well! :)

I was sad when I lost all those guildstones. Wish we could still make those.

Come over to Atlantic Larisa. We're in the same location. We've even expanded a bit.

Love it. :)

How does that work using bamboo floor tiles? I didn't know everything could be made visible that way. Would really like to do that for my little "open air" 7x7 that no one can see unless they do step onto it.

I guess the bamboo floor thing is a bug? Or a feature?

I found out about it a few months ago on this forum. I think it was from a thread about someone who built this garish, purple stonework house that was private and someone asked how they could see the stone blocks.

Basically, if you put a bamboo floor down, you can see anything placed above it without stepping on the plot. The annoying thing is the bamboo floor looks horrid, so I try to cover it up with something. I put the stone floor tiles over it, but you do get these strange little things that pop up. If you look at the polar bear rug on the bottom floor, you'll see dotted lines running through it. That's from the bamboo tiles. Oh, another thing is you can't build anything on the very north and west edges of your plot. You can't place bamboo tiles under that part, so nothing will show up on the upper floors.

Thank you so much for explaining this! I think I can make it work for my little plot. I've always hated that someone could pass by and not even see what is there. :)
