This is a very good mob for a tamer. Two Tamers can finish in 10 to 15 minutes, depending on how many times he wants to play donkey kong. Distance fighters can help while the pet tanks.
Took me 20 because I was taking pictures so I had to run around instead of fight. Also the Hiryu is AI/poison so the poison did nothing. I took it to test that.
I would take a beetle with RC and any other pet. Use a skilled pet and agro it on the Ape. The other pet can be a Noobs pet that you are showing around.
You start by finding a crystal and going to Barako Village. Get the quest from the High Chief. You can stay on ground and click him:
Or go up into the tree houses:
Then go back to the crystal and go to The Great Ape Cave:
Walk across the water and enter:
He is usually somewhere around his Banana Hoard. Look at the area before you start. He teleports you to the pits.
Find him and drag him back away from the pits into the hallway. He hits tamers hard so keep a distance.
Invis and sick your pet on him. He stays on your pet for a while and does a stomp that does small area damage and slows your movement. Also would dismount.
He is poison immune.
While fighting, two things can happen.
He can send you to one of the Gorilla Pits. You exit by walking up the corner toward the hallway.
You will drag some gorillas back. They can have Perfect Bananas on them. Deco
He also likes to play Donkey Kong. During the fight he will tele back to his hoard. Go find him but be ready to cast heals. Dont try to fight at this time (he is yellow) just heal each time and dont panic or run. When he stops lead him back to hallway.
He can tele you to the pit if you are invised. So this is not a place to invis and afk. He decides to target a tamer after the stomp. Just invis and continue.
Most of the time you just stand and let the pets fight. With a Cu, you dont have to heal or run consume if you have HP regen. You can run another mastery.
His resists are like this:
He does 100% Physical damage.
It is a good mob to take new or returning players to. Just show them how to get out of the pit and warn them about needed to heal during Donkey Kong.
You get a quest skull you can use for deco, or practice lines:
If you do all the quests you can get some nice deco items or a 1 => 3 cute Tiger cub.
