Swoop working out?

I just came back after three years away. I got my gear together farming solens for a day and my magery worked up. Then I headed for what used to be the easiest loot in the game. You know it...SWOOP.

Ya know, three years ago there were always people at the Swoop and Miasma spawns. There was no one there. I could kill these guys easily with two EV's. Not anymore. I couldn't even scratch Swoop. What happened? Did my EV get nerfed or did Swoop find the key to Lyle Alzado's old locker?

They buffed swoops because of afk macro's. Best gear you can get is join factions and get points and silver and get the leet arti's.

Yeah, there are Hammers available now, I don't buy anymore since imbuing came out.

I took you off ignore out of curiosity in regard to HOW you could POSSIBLY troll that one.. but.. alas.. no troll..

Truth is, imbuing can't come close to competing with the kind of armor you can make with hammers. Not. even. close. .

can I keep you off ignore? Can we play nice? Can we share legos?

...time will tell, i suppose..
