soooo if a fella needed a specific level of T map?

im just sitting here spit balling some ideas.

if i needed a specific level of Treasure map would a good rule of thumb to be to kill whatever critters spawn as Guardians for that level of map will give you the T map of that level?

ill explain.
say i needed some Cleverly made maps, if i kill the guardians listed below would that help me get the clever maps that i require?
Clever map Guardians are;

Elder Gazer
Daemon
Dread Spider
Lich Lord
Ogre Lord

never mind, i answered my own question by looking up the loot of the monsters listed above.

the answer is yes.
the color is blue.

The dark guardians in doom all drop treasure maps. I can't remember the level maybe 2 or 3. I normally just trash them for points.
