Virtues! She was tingling at the prospect! Teaching would be just like her nights at the temple, only with more time for emphasis! So many things she could start with. Oodles and oodles of possible lessons flooded through her mind. No, not quite like at the temple she thought. She could go into detail! Depth and passion! Laying down on the Compassion tile of the Virtue Shrine, she stared up into the clouds above Olympus. Finally, her calling was showing itself. The initial days in the town just north of Trinsic had proven themselves to be trials. Between the jailer’s bad disposition and her mates horrid attack on the temple, she had let doubt infect her. Not just infect but cloud her heart giving way to several… frowns and moments of despair. She nearly cried at the prospect. But then that was the point of balance, right? Without feeling the pang of despair one could not bask in the essence of Love. Yes, her calling was to be the vessel! The Bringer of a renewal in the virtues and in the Gods!

He seemed sincere in his interest. That alone put a smile on her face as so many simply provided lip service. She found herself frowning at that thought too. One should never have to lie. If people were just open about their intentions the lands would run smoother. Not that she could say much, the Gypsy camps weren’t the most honest of places either. Most times the ladies behind the veils said one thing and did something opposite. So did the visitors. Coins, now coins were honest. But coins held no love, no emotion, and no depth! It’s one of the reasons she never carried any. Gold was a harsh master. One that would never own her.

The room shook with the pounding feet of patrons from all over, each who had made their way to Olympus and into Galehaven. The room was filled with dim light given by the flickering candles, the cold stone walls held the clamor of the visitors within its confines. Talk of rumors, trade even betrayal swept the room but there at the center sat a young woman, quiet and content. Interested Eldaern made his way to her, as he sat she placed a hand upon his chest welcoming him into her embrace.

"Blessings and warm rain." The young woman spoke as she looked up at him.

"blessien ar' urna rosa." Eldaern replied, returning her kind words.

The young woman's eyes widened; the language Eldaern spoke danced like the flowing of water. Eldaern could see that a spark had erupted in her mind. As if a human would be interested in Eldalie, Eldaern thought to himself. Yet, she was not like any ordinary human with their traditional “screw you what about me attitude.” Eldaern made an offer and the two struck a deal, knowledge for knowledge.

Eldaern always had a hunger and willingness to learn and an opportunity to see how others viewed the world he had managed to live in for far too many years, he would not pass on the offer. He had attended one of Joes more spiritual lectures in the past, something about the way she spoke with such passion and thoughtfulness had caught his attention. He believed she shared a similar interest in learning, perhaps literature. There were not many of the human race that had the willingness to attempt the forgotten language of the Eldalie. Yes he would teach her, perhaps rekindle or strengthen the bond between man and elf. Joe would be the first and he would gain knowledge of the virtues in return.
