Heya,

Post screenies or write the mods of best items you'v managed to build with Imbuing. Let us also know what mods the item had before you started imbuing.

I'm really interested in what you can make with the skill but havent had time to go test it myself, and I would be glad to see what you guys have been able to make!

Haven't explored imbuing much, but I set myself a target to make a decent mage suit, came up with this.

Leather Gorget - mr 2, lrc 20, 7/7/16/8/6

Leather Arms - mr 2, lrc 20, 17/18/10/8/6
Leather Gloves - mr 2, lrc 20, 7/18/8/15/8
Leather Legs - mr 2, lmc 5, 17/13/12/6/7
Ring - spirit speak 15, necro 15, dci 15, fcr 2, lrc 20

Shield of Invulnerability
Totem of the Void
Scrappers
Crimson

Having protection, reactive armor and magic reflect cast I had

63/70/70/70/70

40 lmc
100 lrc
2/6 casting

Not a bad suit, my necro mage weaver would love it, but others who have played with imbuing more might be able to make something better.

I was using a human char, with 120 imbuing. The armour I made with 120 tailoring and 100 arms lore with plain leather and a normal sewing kit, used PoF on each item to get it to max durability, then started imbuing. For the ring, I bought a plain ring from the jewelers.

also would like to add i would also need to get
2 120 power scrolls
1 115 power scroll
and 2 110 power scrolls
i did not have access to these or atleast have not been able to figure out how to get em on retribution shard

when you set a skill on a test shard, if you don't have the appropriate powerscroll, it silently boosts your cap for you as if you had eaten one.

I can still add another mod to those also but would be very expensive

you need 120 imbuing

and lots of patience by the way this was with a human if it had been gargoyle it would have been a little cheaper because of there innate ability
the real hard part would be getting the last mod on

and i could still try to enhance the bow with ash and get 40ssi but the chance to destroy it would be very very high

You can really tailor things to your needs.

with all the DI stuff that is out there the 40DI could of been something like 50% area fire or Balance, just need an NPC plain yumi to start

Yes I know, but I nearly always run with protection .. and I was just trying to see what I could do with imbuing.

Instead of making a bracelet I just used the orny .. and protection only effects fc, not fcr?

Remember to fortify your items before imbuing. The process for making the comp bow above would probably look something like this.

1) Using normal wood and normal fletching kit, make exceptional comp bow. Arms lore gives 40 di.
2) Use powder of fortifying to bring the bow to 255/255 durability
3) Imbue with the following properties: ssi, balanced, velocity, hci
4) Enhance with ash to bring ssi to 40 and pray it doesn't break
