Hi folks,
So here is the deal, we've been franchising our taverns. So in house our storylines have been about expanding our businesses (as CoD is very "wealth" centric). We've promoted our dear "Edwin" to Tavern Manager (he's shared by us all --- we've all played him at one point or another). So now he's more involved in overseeing all our tavern endeavors.
The Crescent Moon tavern has an unique opportunity for our RP'ers, as it is located in Luna. We want to put up some vendors with an "rp" feel to them. So the establishment of these vendors will completely be done "in character"... as is any interaction with Edwin or his superiors. So here are the steps we seek from folks willing to engage in "in character" merchandising.
A. First, we seek folks to write up a "business case" as to why they wish to sell their goods here (written in a book of your choice, submitted to our mailbox at the tavern). We will select the ones we think are the best sales pitch.
B. Once selected, a letter will be sent to you letting you know you've been selected. Along with your letter you will see a first pass at a contract. This contract is up for negotiation.
C. Contract negotiation meetings will occur between yourself and Edwin; in character, in person. Once an agreement is made, if made, you sign the contracts.
D. A vendor will be given to you based on your negotiated terms for you to stand up in our "Boutiques" section.
E. Merchants enjoy free use of the tavern for their business dealings and are granted a set amount of gold in their "tabs" per month; anything over the provided budget will need to be paid and an itemized bill will be provided to you.
F. Everyone lives happily ever after!
