They have the NPC skill 
this skill allow you to never fail whatever you do (even impossible things), cast spells like you have faster casting 8 and give you the chance to spam 3 spell in the same speed that a player take to cast a first cirle spell. Oh and dont forget the most important part: NPC skill give you casting focus 100%

HEH... well, almost. If you discord them they do fail, and other spellcaster types will fail. So it seems they have a specific skill level that can be reduced with discord. But it is a good question.They have the NPC skill
