I had a vague memory that casting Sacred Journey whilst hidden did'nt reveal, but I just tried it and it did...Am I missing something or have I totally imagined it??

Ah the joys of growing old and a failing memory!
Actually, you could be hidden with Sacred Journey, since it had a delay to it. You'd cast Sacred Journey on your runebook, hide, and you'd show up at your destination still hidden.
