At the Counselor's hall this evening Nathan Hawke arrived to a crowd of citizens wanting answers regarding the attack on Sunday night in the Yew forest.

Leo Madsen from Yew began to retell his accounts from the evening.
Leo: "When we got into the crypts, we were dragging rangers outside... And an elf, pure white, spikey hair.. purple robe and an axe started murdering them."
Nathan jumped in to remind the crowd the murderers were not necessarily the arsonists. Back to the Rangers, Nathan asked if Leo had managed to save any.

Leo: "Aye a few of them, We went back when the civilians had buggered off, Buried the dead."
Alexander Fraser in the crowd asked a question on a lot of peoples minds, What were the rangers doing there in the first place?

Nathan: "All I know is that the Queen sent them to the forest, My relations with the queen aren't brilliant as you know."
Leo said the survivors were taken to the Healers in the center of Yew, We would try and question them later Nathan said.

Before continuing with the talk Nathan made it clear he was disgusted by the actions of the citizens of Britannia on Sunday night, He warned everyone if anyone is linked to these crimes, the deaths of some of these Rangers, they would be punished severely.

A lot of people in the crowd agreed firmly and others nodded their heads, Nathan moved back to Leo and asked what happened inside the Crypts.

Leo: "We were in Stonekeep and a ranger came pegging it in, Claimed there was a fire to the north and that a bunch of rangers were trapped. We barely got outside Stonekeep and the flaming trees attacked us, and these naked bints wearing leaves in their hair. We fought our way to the crypts. We got inside and that's it... The rangers weren't in a chatty mood. So we got them out and took them to the healers."
Nathan thanked him and the guardsmen of Yew for their brave actions, He moved on to the fire and asked the crowd if anyone had seen such a type of fire.

Leo spoke up after a short silence and said Vesper often use fire in their battles.

Nathan asked the Duke of Trinsic, Irvyn to confirm Vesper were at their Spring Fesitval on Sunday evening.

Leo: "ALL of them?"

Irvyn: "Yes, or at least the vast majority of them."
Nathan dismissed the Vesper claim saying they would likely be bragging if it were them.

Talk went on about the creatures, Reapers, Similar to the fire trees are located North of Yew and the Dryads are from the Blighted Grove South of Yew.

Nathan moved back to the fire at the door of the Crypts.

Leo: "They may have been ambushed inside, or chased inside."

Nathan then brought the chatter to an end as he cast a gate to the healers in Yew.

Inside the healers was a ranger named Jonah.

Nathan asked Jonah what happened.

Jonah: "We were camping in the forest when it happened. It was terrible! We had been working in the forest from dusk. We shot a few hearts and rabbits for dinner. We were sat around the campfire; preparing the rabbits for dinner, when we heard the sound... The *whoosh whoosh* of flapping wings and the *sniff sniff* of a hungry beast! It was a monster... a giant.. a horrible Dragon! It came down from the dark sky..."
The Ranger said the Dragon swooped down and devoured a giant heart with a single gulp! Jonah had more to say!

Jonah: "It let out a deafening roar and flames burst from its maul, setting fire to the forest around us, We fled! We ran as fast as we could, into the first building we came across: The Crypts... But when we tried to go outside again we couldn't open the door! A burning tree had fallen over and blocked the door. If it weren't for Brydon who had been camping nearby our site and heard our cries..."
Brydon appeared to be the Ranger that had ran to Yew and alerted the Yew Guardsmen to the fire in the forest, Slowly, Things were coming together.

Jonah said after his story that other dragons have been attacking and stealing the food of many others lately!

A lady named Yelena said that not even a Crimson dragon have the power of flame that Jonah described.

Nathan asked us to step outside as Jonah told us he wouldn't be leaving the healers until the Dragon was gone.

Outside Nathan said although the man seemed in shock and slightly odd in the head, He had no reason to lie. Nathan asked the crowd if anyone had any ideas on what to do next.

Talk about looking for a dragon lair came up and went by, Yelena said that a forest are not an ideal location for a dragon to roam.

Nathan stopped the chatter, he seemed to have a plan.

Nathan: "I think we need to draw it out into the open, A pile of food, meat I think."
Leo offered up several footmen for the Dragon to chew on but Nathan was opposed to the idea and went back to meat, Meat and gold!

Nathan: "Alright, You gather up some meat and gold and tomorrow night we will make a pile of it. I will go and try get some sense out of the Queen."

With that Nathan took his leave and told us to meet at the Crypts tomorrow night (Friday 23rd) at 8pm UK Time.

Several questions were answered, But many more were opened up, Why was this Dragon hunting for food in the Yew forest and another, Where is this Brydon? Lets hope we will find out in coming days.

Wouldn't it be nice if we didn't have to kill this noble beast, but instead could befriend it and keep him alive and unique? Alas I suspect I shall barely see it, as it will be buried under people wanting to quench their blades in it's blood...
