Story Night will be this Tuesday, April 15th at 7 pm Pacific time at the Golden Unicorn in Wispwood Shire.
Theme: Our theme for the night, in honor of tax day, are stories of the TAX man (and other thieving related stories)! For those that don't know or don't remember, there was a guild on Siege known as TAX, whose responsibility was to collect taxes by the order of Lord British. Just how much of these taxes actually made it into Lord British's coffers are under scrutiny as there have been accusations that the TAX men were pilfering most of collections!
As always, any stories you wish to tell at Story Night are welcome. Location of the Golden Unicorn Tavern is below (noted as Tavern). If you need a gate to the event, send me a pidgeon (ICQ 4842047).
The Basics
What is Story Night?
Story Night is a tavern night where instead of just sitting around and drinking ale, we sit around, drink ale, and tell stories! This is meant as an in-game roleplaying event, so all stories should revolve around your character or in-game stories, no real life stories.
Where is Story Night held?
Story Night is held in the Golden Unicorn Tavern, located in Wispwood Shire. A map of the location is below.
How often is Story Night held?
Story Night is held every Tuesday, 7pm Pacific time, with the occasional closing for renovations and such (Real life issues).
What is Wispwood?
Wispwood Shire is the oldest living player run city on Siege, belonging to the guild Citizens of Wispwood Shire, located on the Siege Perilous shard.
What is this 'theme'?
Every week a theme is decided upon for that weeks Story Night. The theme is to help those who are having creativity blocks in coming up with what story they may want to tell, as well as to come up with some creative ideas for fun things to do. Previous themes have included:
- Your first player to player combat experience.
- Costume night.
- You most feared opponent in the battlefield.
- Your most memorable player-run event.
I'm shy and fearful of telling a story!
Come by for some free ale, good company, and listen to the stories others have to tell!
I don't know how to roleplay!
Don't worry, come by, you'll pick up on it and we'll be happy to give you pointers!

Siege is a dangerous land where you can be attacked and killed anywhere at anytime. We can not guarantee your safety within the building or on your journey to the event. Often, murderers are waiting outside for travelers en route to the event. As always, never carry anything with you that you can not afford to lose.
